I asked a question earlier about an amp but asked it wrong..

My question is my receiver has 4 speaker inputs on back.. 2 speakers per A and B channel.. There's 2 ac outlets on the back.. 1 says 200 Watts switched.. Then it says the power consumption is 2.2 amps.. What is the wattage per channel x 2 if it says 200 Watts max switched and 2.2 amps.. Please thank u I need to know appreciate it.. I believe this amp is around 100 Watts per channel but I'm not sure that's why I'm asking lol..

Also I have another kenwood stereo that says 200 Watts switched on the ac outlet on that one.. That one says 1.3 amps but is 50 Watts x 4..
HOTD, sorry if you've explained it already but why do you have so many speaker related questions?
The question made my head hurt.
Technically, the speaker connectors on the back of the receiver are outputs, not inputs.
I think I found the anwer.

The AC outlets on the backs of receivers and their markings (wattage) have nothing to do with the amplifier.

They were simply commonly placed there to chain power to other stereo components. The wattage of those outlets (200) denotes nothing about the power sent to speakers.

Every receiver has a model number. Research the model number specs to get your answers. Regarding discussion - you may have better luck at a forum for stereos and not football.

I was told there would be no math.
