Browns signed QB Drew Stanton. Puzzling to say the least if they're going to keep Kessler and a rookie as well

Browns signed QB Drew Stanton. Puzzling to say the least if they're going to keep Kessler and a rookie as well

Kessler probably won't stick and they basically promised tyrod every opportunity to succeed this year.

They probably are just being smart in case tyrod goes down, they won't have to thrust a rookie in. 

Not a bad strategy especially if they go with more of a project guy like Josh Allen.
Maybe they would consider flipping Taylor for a pick if the rookie is ready to roll right away.

I'm not a huge fan but the deal they just gave him pretty much sounds like he's the backup.
