Another solid if not great addition to the o-line.

I'd prefer Goedert, but have no problem with that selection considering the many likable TEs in this draft

Wouldn't hate it at all.

If healthy, Williams would give us short term depth and long term stability and versatility along the OL.

Wouldn't love it either but makes sense.
Have a feeling that will be the theme of this years draft for fans. Lots of Smoot type picks to plug holes or plan for future holes.

Could be. Sure would be great to come away with two immediate impact players though.
(RG and TE being my rough expectation to see a pair of rookies make some impact)

I don't see Tremaine Edwards lasting until #17.
Forget Conner....
Courtland Sutton is available to pick.
Sutton is my #1 guy over Ridley, Goedert, Vander Esch, Hernandez, Wynn, Rudolph and every one else who even might be there.

I like the pick. It's been said he can move to guard where he'd be an upgrade over Cann. Once Parnell retires (or gets cut for salary cap reasons), he can move back to tackle. Maybe not a sexy pick like q.b., receiver or even tight end, but there is an immediate need for another offensive lineman and Williams is a good choice.

I truly believe he'll be long gone by the time we pick. IMO, he's the best OT in the draft. I have him going #15 to Arizona. They just traded away their starting LT.

I think Arizona takes Rudolph if the Bill's dont. They have Humphries who they took in the first round a couple years ago. Maybe they feel he can take the next step

Humphries is a solid RT and a terrible option as a LT. I don't buy him as a LT at all. His feet are just too slow to play on the blindside. He has a very hard time with speed rushers. Arizona signed Sam Bradford and Mike Glennon, so they aren't nearly as bad off as some other teams when it comes to QB. Bradford is a solid option when healthy and Glennon could actually decent in the right situation. I'd trust either one of those guys as a starting QB way more than I would trust Humphries as a starting LT. It doesn't mean they won't draft a QB. I believe they will, but I believe they address needs on the O-Line first. I really believe they have their sights set on Lamar Jackson in the 2nd round as a two year project. The new HC came from Carolina where they have worked with a running QB who has passing deficiencies. I believe they want to select Jackson and work on his pocket presence and adding weight to his frame before starting him.

I'd take it. Maybe an take over for Cann in the short term.
