If that sentiment is consensus, I'm sure you could find several sources to back this up.

This is the first I've heard of this.  If that's true, and he's still projected as at best a 5th rounder, then that speaks even more to his shortcomings.

Gotcha.

Gruden does tend to find things to love about QBs, even though no one else is saying them.  Now that he's not being paid to blow sunshine, we probably won't hear those things anymore unless it's about his own guys or the guys he's facing.

Most of the coverage of Peterman centered around this supposed pro readiness but it was invented from thin air.

Apparently Gruden is meant to be the total opposite as a coach. I guess I pictured him as a Gus Bradley type but from everything I've seen he's very tough and meticulous as HC.  Will be interesting to see how he does.

Be interesting to see how he handles rules, rules changes, etc. "Sean, I give up. I don't even know what a catch is anymore!" ..."Sean, you gotta let 'em play! You gotta let 'em play!!"

No doubt the Raiders will be on the first MNF broadcast this year.

I literally got sick to my stomach from the number of times I read Peterman was the next Garoppolo.
