It would kinda be dumb to say you don't believe in drafting Guards in the 1st round after you just made Norwell the highest paid Guard ever.

Also off topic and maybe its just me but it seems that he really doesn't like covering the team either.
His attitude has changed some since the team started winning, but yes he comes off as pretty miserable. 

I think that's 50% just his personality in general and 50% job dissatisfaction.
He carries on a long tradition of T-U beat writers (eg, Bart Hubbuch) who see J-ville as a necessary country bump on the road to working for a larger market, so they are overly critical to endear themselves to their peers in the national media.

Exactly.
I don't think Kaye becoming so popular #online helped him either.
Only 2019 QB I like right now is Drew Lock and he's pretty inconsistent and raw.

My take on it is our first rounder this year should either be QB, TE, or OL, unless someone slides and we have crazy value staring us in the face.
