I found this to be pretty informative.
I like Pauline's columns. He does know his stuff. There was a few years when Vic had him on around draft time, he nailed the Jags selections.
Much applies to the Jaguars possible picks, including...
  • Widening gap between #2 G Isaiah Wynn and the #3 G Will Hernandez noting that Wynn can zone block.
  • Austin Corbett rising fast and may be an early 2nd round pick. He's now on my radar at #61.
  • Price falling hard with pec injury, but may still be a late first round pick with James Daniels surpassing him. <--This appears to be old news tho.
  • Ragnow likely gone in the top 50.
Seems like a good possibility that Hernandez is there at 29 if teams put Wynn above him
Yeah, sounds like our first round choices might be anyone except Nelson, Wynn, and McGlinchey while our second round choices might only be Corbett or pray for a falling Price...if we're lucky.

I'd guess Price, Corbett, and Ragnow are all gone by our second pick. The run on interior lineman probably starts around our first round pick. Another reason why I like guard with our first pick. We would stay ahead of the run
I wonder what they are seeing in Austin Corbett.

Ive never seen him play, but the write ups I’ve seen make him sound like an average OT who has never played at guard.

Early second round sounds a little early, with so many other options at guard, but maybe there’s more than meets the eye here.

He kicked inside during Senior Bowl week and was one of the most impressive players there. He lacks the ideal size to be an NFL OT, but looked like a natural OG in the Senior Bowl. In fact, they moved him around to all 5 positions during the week and he looked very good at all of them, especially in pass protection. His stock really shot up after that week.

Other 2nd round options might be Jamarco Jones and/or Martinas Rankin. If we're really lucky maybe Branden Smith.

Interesting, I guess that’s probably it.

That’s a big climb if it’s true though.

When I first read about Corbett I really liked him and thought about him for our round two pick... but then everything I read said he was basically a round four pick... but now all of a sudden he's an early 2nd... I think there's a good chance he's still there at #61.
