Just curious. Some giving Jags good marks for Tavon
They tucked his (and McShay's - they do one together) final big board behind the Insider subscription.

Mike Mayock had him as his 26th best player overall on his top 100 board.

Found this story that said Kiper had him going at 20 to the Lions.

Nfl.com ranked him as one of the top 5 value picks in the first round.

Very Nice
I love potential drafting. That's what got us Matt Jones and Derrick Harvey. They worked out wonderfully.

Watching his tape I see nothing different from Tyson Alualu in College.

Every player you draft is based on potential some are more risky then others but there's zero guarantees. Myles Jack was based on the potential that he would come back from injury, I remember a lot of people saying Jalen was just a safety and we drafted him on his potential to play corner and that worked out.
Crazy how much we praised this staff for the recent drafting success and now we think they are idiots.
Taven Bryan has Jag written all over him.

Before the start of the draft,  if I was told that Frank Ragnow and Taven Bryan would be the players the Lions and Jaguars would respectively end up with w/o trades taking place for either team,  I would have said there's at least a 98 % that the Lions would draft Bryan and the Jaguars would draft Ragnow.

And not potential drafting got us Joeckel over Ansah

Because the "locks" always pan out?
There have been plenty of "locks" including first overall picks who just busted
