It's seriously frustrating.. the other day it was FRONT PAGE NATIONAL NEWS that her father wasn't coming to the UK for the wedding..

This was on the same day that the Palestinians were killed in Israel...
Now... THIS Prince I could watch all day.

RIP

We sat virtually front row to his last concert here in Jax.  I've experienced nothing like it before or since, and likely never will.  He and every single person in his band were simply amazing.
I asked this same question on the other message board I’m a member of “Manly men who bare knuckle box brown bears and grow beards dot com”. Got the same replies. Weird.

I wish he played more guitar on his albums. I get that he wanted to be a pop star and not some '80s shredder, but he was too good of a guitar player to not let it shine more often.
Nope. I would rather burn my eyes out with hot bacon grease.
I would sooner watch Flash Gordon a dozen times than sit through a "royal wedding". I mean, seriously, who cares? The British royal family serves no purpose other than being paparazzi magnets these days.

Also, Flash Gordon is a really bad movie. Even a killer score by Queen (speaking of royalty) can't save it.

They seem like nice folks and all, but they're a bit on the boring side, no? If I'm going to follow the leader of a country, give me somebody exciting. Like ole Kim Jong and his crew. He shoots dissedents with anti-aircraft cannons. Imagine that as a reality show.

"This week on 'Keeping Up With The Jongs', the son of a political rival hits on Kim Jong's neice. Does Kim draw and quarter him with tanks or obliterate him with a nuclear warhead? Tune in Wednesday at nine, only on A&E".

I agree for the most part.

I'm expected to be a Royalist as my dad was in the British Army for 25 years, but it just annoys me..

I like Prince Harry, though. He just seems kinda normal..

You mean Carson Wentz?

That's the one..
Why, are they making a sex tape?

I bet you couldn't sit through The Love Guru a dozen times. That was the worst movie I've ever seen in my life. I couldn't even make it through 1 viewing. It was then that I realized outside of the Shrek movies, Mike Meyers is really annoying.
I think you’d get pretty much the same reaction from most men in this country too - but some of us will be taking wives/children to wedding-parties anyway...

Just hoping they put the FA Cup final on afterwards.
Well at least you got something to do in the FA Cup thing!
I’m in the OKC airport and see on a TV that the deed is apparently done.

Let the Royal Smashing begin!
OK .... i had it on in the background as I was prepping the house for my daughters HS Graduation dinner & drinks.

I didn't watch the actually church ceremony but rather the carriage rider which looked pretty cool. Meghan's ex-boyfriend is probably thinking there's very little chance that she's regretting their breakup ..... lol

I like William and Harry --- they definitely seem to be down to earth and in touch with the common people -- at least as much as possible given their royalty status.
Long time GF just left for a "Royal Wedding Party" with her sister and a bunch of friends who taped it and aren't watching/listening to anything (this is roughly analogous to the Super Bowl to us or to our taping the AFC Championship game b/c we have to work and then watching it later).

"I'll be home about 4."

"OK. Lou just emailed (not), we're going to play 18 at 3:45 (not). We'll grab something to eat and a couple beers, see you about 8:30."

Goof off all day, then grab the clubs and get out about 3:30. Go to the driving range to hit a bucket...then to the putting green, then to the Elks for a different kind of bucket and some Celtics pre-game. Get home for 8:30 tip-off and she'll be asleep. Almost the perfect day.

To answer the OP: uh, no.

I enjoy Austin Powers too. But yeah Shrek and AP is it for me on the MM front.

Now that I would watch...well skip around to the good bits.
Yeah as all the men would buy that plus Meghan is too smart to make a tape like that.
A thread about the Royal Wedding has resulted in honourable mentions for Shrek, Austin Powers and Sex tapes.

I love the internet.

We're American men. We've got short attention spans and we get bored easily. Sooner or later every conversation is gonna turn to sex, movies or sports.
