Man, what a disappointment. There is a reason I rarely visit NFL.com and now Jags.com is damn near a carbon copy. The functionality sucks as well. Videos struggle to play, pages load slower than turtles having sex, and the layout is slammed full of ads. I'm sure they will notice a serious decrease in site visits and length of visits. What do you all think?
Sucks.
The mobile app is even worse.
The NFL has been serving all team videos from a central site for a couple years. On every NFL website I get the:

"FUMBLE! Something is wrong with your browser's video playback!" message. (Browser works just fine on non-NFL sites).

So I haven't watched an NFL video in at least 2 years. I doubt that was the desired outcome when they took over every team's video streams.

I used to get video on the Jaguars app, but the last time that worked was the 2015 season.

Isn't that around the same time the Jags dumped the fan forums, early 2016? Was that also a league mandate?
Is the Jaguars Official Site really all-white with a tiny Jag logo? It looks like a Geocities page from 1995. It's like Goodell did the web design on his lunch break.

I went to the Packers site and the NFL has allowed them to have a bigger logo and PACKERS in large letters. Why can't the Jags have large letters, NFL?

The NFL is allowing the Bears to use a background image on their website!! It's a stupid orange rip that makes the site look like Bengals or Browns, but at least it's Geocities 1996 when Netscape added support for backgrounds. How many Super Bowls do the Jags have to win before they get big letters or a background image?
Blah!
I haven't been able to watch videos or nfl or jaguars.com in something like 2 years as well.
It's crap.
I haven't been back since we moved here.
I hate it. It's so confusing looking now and harder to find stuff in my opinion.

No longer supporting/endorsing the message boards was not a league mandate, per say, but it was a thing all teams were doing as they saw it as a pain to manage.
I agree, but I also think it's worth it.

Team sites being centrally run is a mandate though. Teams don't have control over the much beyond the content.
