This could be an all the league post I guess?

But as a UK fan of long time one thing that has always baffled me is that despite the crowds you don’t hear much singing/chanting in NFL games.

And as it’s off season I just wondered why that is?

I remember being at Wembley watching my team (Birmingham City) beat Arsenal and we still hold the record for loudest decibels at a Wembley sporting event and how much it motivated everyone but I don’t seem to hear much when I watched NFL. Is it ok just not hearing it or is there a reasons behind it?

Is a link of my team with 2000 fans away at the sound is resounding.
Because it's football and they're aren't long stretches where nothing happens.
There are plenty of commercial breaks or periods during which a play is under review and people are encouraged to chant. We also chant/scream when the defense is on the field. When the offense is on the field you want to give you’re qb a chance to hear the calls from the OC and communicate with the rest of the team. So not much shouting then.

I grew up in Bulgaria and have attended a ton of soccer games back home and know exactly what you are talking about though.
Girls softball? Nothing incredible about that.

In football we chant yeahhhhhhh...with immediate suddeness all at the same time when a good/big play happens.
It's not a musical. It's football.
Americans don’t do that sort of thing. (shrug) We don’t.
