Quote:I've seen "Inside I'm Dancing", but I know it by an alternate title, Rory O'Shea Was Here. It's a fantastic film. It's definitely in my top 100.

Its top notch. Very good acting by both of the lads too.
Quote:In no particular order, here is a list of 10 films I like:

The Godfather

The Godfather II

Lawrence of Arabia

Dr. Strangelove

Casablanca

Ran

Seven Samurai

Unforgiven

Schindler's List

Ben Hur

As you can see, a pretty ordinary list.

A couple of others that almost made the list:

The Lord of the Rings trilogy

Treasure of the Sierra Madre

Saving Private Ryan

Seven Days in May

I left out "No Country for Old Men."
Really tough to make these lists, but "Cool Hand Luke" would be in my top 10.

I really really struggled with mine, too many good movies!!
Quote:Armageddon (don't judge me)

Die hard with a vengeance

Braveheart

Training day

Star Trek (the 1st new one)

Old school
Lethal Weapons 4

Patriot

Dark knight

Star wars new hope

Isn't that the one where all the girls have really big... umm... "personalities"?
In no order really:

Empire Strikes Back - Just a hell of a story with quality acting done by a guy who knows what the hell he's doing behind a camera.

Pulp Fiction - Very unique to me. I'm not a big Tarantino fan but this movie just seemed to come out of nowhere to me.

El Dorado - Classic cheesy John Wayne Western. Plus, you get to watch Robert Mitchum Rifle-whip someone. Ray Liotta pistol whips people, Mitchum rifle whips them. Also, you get to hear Mitchum say this line.

Fury - One in a long line of war movies but it's done really, really well.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - To me, it's the best one.

Friday Night Lights - A sincere look at what it's like inside a Texas High School football team.

The Dark Knight - The scene where Wayne realizes that he can't just beat people up to stop them is such an awesome point.

The Bourne Identity - Fun to watch, what can I say?

The Godfather I & II - They're really one movie, I don't care what you say.

Conan the Barbarian - You know, before Oliver Stone went loopy.

  • Seven Samurai
  • The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
  • The Bridge on the River Kwai
  • The Thing (1982)
  • Gojira (1954)
  • Lawrence of Arabia
  • Shaun of the Dead
  • The Longest Day
  • Indiana Jones trilogy
  • Pulp Fiction
The Godfather

The Godfather II

The Shawshank Redemption

Apocalypse Now!

Pulp Fiction

Reservoir Dogs

The Man Who Would Be King
