Lol..not even close. Let's not forget Luck putting up 21 easy points in the 4th quarter two weeks ago.

Ramsey/Prince is a really solid duo, but let's be fair. Ramsey is still learning, and Prince isn't exactly Sherman/Peterson/Revis(a year or two ago). He's solid, but he's not top tier.
Colvin is in the realm of pretty-good to really-good.
Gipson is a quality FS
Cyprien... just no.
We've got a pretty good secondary, but I'd have a really hard time saying "the best".
For now, I'm happy w/ "Pretty Good".

Cyp though. Quietly steady, if not spectacular

The corners are great but Cyprien at SS has been okay at best. It is borderline right now whether or not, they will try to resign him

I think this is a false statement, Cyprien has been better than "okay" this year, at worst he's been above average to good, he's obviously more effective playing closer to the LOS, it wouldn't surprise me if the Jags decided to resign Cyp sooner than later, he's not making it to the open market.

No. Just no.
The Indy game he played ok in run support, and there were no glaring issues in the Bears game that come to mind, but prior to that he was still taking HORRIBLE angles, missing tackles, and being his usual self.
Right now, his ceiling is "ok". He has been nothing close to "Above Average".

It took time for Cyp to gel with the rest of his secondary. He has played with trash his entire time here and has been exposed. He has two new starting CBs and a new FS. He is learning to just do his role now instead of trying to do extra. He started out rough this year but past two games he has been solid. I'm hoping he keeps it up.

Cyp has been playing really well. I don't know what games you've been watching Diz.

Quote:No. Just no.Uhhhh we are talking about games this year, not last year. Cyp had been playing really well actually outside of a couple missed tackles but lacy is a load to bring down anyways.

Cyprien "started out rough" against a very tough opponent. Some of it was clearly a credit to Green Bay receivers.

What is with Cyp hovering near the LOS then running back to his normal position on so many plays recently? It's not like he's fooling anyone since he does it about 3-5 seconds before the snap. I just never noticed it as much before. It's looks silly to me.

This. Not sure what Diz is seeing unless he's counting last year

Diz is either blind or ignorant if he really believes Cyprien has been bad this season.

Seattle have the best secondary with the Cardinals behind them.. The jags have potential tho..

Last year Denver's secondary got the nickname "No Fly Zone" because it up there with Seattle's Legion of Boom. There was even a debate over which team has a better group of defensive backs.
Since when have we heard similar talk about Arizona's secondary?

Patrick Peterson and Mathieu are 2 of the best dbs in the league. The Arizona secondary is one of the best units there is

I know they are, but nobody talks about the other guys.

Sea and Den are clearly the top 2 secondaries imo. Then you have New England, Min, and Arizona. Those are the top 5 then a gap, we could be in the talk at 6 though.

The Patriots are never mentioned on the "best secondary" list, although Super Bowl hero Malcom Butler has been a beast since intercepting Russell Wilson. Minnesota's secondary is scary for most if not all Vikings opponents.
