Came across this flick randomly on Amazon Prime Video last night. Pretty good watch if you're into movies revolving around prison life and what not. Stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister from Game of Thrones) and Jon Bernthal (Shane from The Walking Dead & currently staring as Frank Castle on Netflix's Punisher series).
What I liked a lot about this film is that it shows you the psychology regarding the how's and why's of prison life. How some people just have rotten luck and end up in prison for petty crimes or legitimate accidents and end up being forced to integrate into the way of prison life with the rest of the animals due to the segregation it promotes within it's walls. And it also touches on corruption. Good mix of American History X and Shawshank Redemption IMHO in this movie.
Also has a great music score throughout the entire film. Really sets the tone all the way through from start to finish.
