Just wanted to get some insight in the career, and what path you took. I'm life licensed and had my Series 6 and 63 at one point, but let those two lapse due to non use. I dabbled in the business but never did much.

I have an interview with Edward Jones for their FA program. Initial salary is solid, they rely on door to door knocking, which is effective but not fun.

I also had a first interview with a smaller local firm who is partnered heavily with Penn Mutual. Initial salary is a little lower but they try to market with more of a Project 200/warm market introduction.

I'm going to go through the interview process with each and see if one jumps out more at me. Right now I'm leaning towards EJ as they also sponsor your Series 7 license and the name recognition of the company.

Just wondering if anyone could share their experiences if any.
