“Great quarterback for their team”

Maybe just keeping it light so when he signs with the tacks there’s no bad blood. Ninja

No one else got the "great" rating. Brady and Rogers got the "doesnt suck" rating.
I knew Ramsey was a tacks fan

I wonder how Blake Bortles feels... he mentioned two AFC South QB's as "great", and no mention of his own QB.

From the article:

Quote: What about your boy Blake Bortles?

Blake do what he gotta do… I think in crunch time moments, like last year's playoff game—not as a team, because we would have trusted him—but I think as an organization, we should have trusted him more to keep throwing it. We kinda got complacent and conservative. And I think that's why we lost. We started running it on first and second down, throwing it on third down, every single time we were out there. [The Patriots] caught on to that.

How much trouble do you give him in practice?

We never go against him unless it's training camp. We never go against them in practice, during the season.

They go against the two's?

Yeah, scout team. Plus we don't wanna hurt his confidence. That'll probably hurt his confidence.
A rule of thumb for NFL players....don't trash the product.

Ramsey needs to understand you're only as good as your weakest link. If he cares about his team mates, he needs to stop fueling the enemy bulletin board.

The irony is the better Ramsey plays, the less likely he will have opportunities to back it up.
The only thing that bothered me about it was the fact they got all upset with other players saying BB5 is trash and no good. Then he comes out and does the same thing. True or not kinda hypicritical.

By the way - major news flash:

Jalen Ramsey talks lots of trash. All day, every day.

Most people talk in their sleep, #20 talks trash in his sleep.

He did not say that at all. Might need to read that article again.

He made a point of saying that Blake was good enough to win when it counts. Very different than what you are saying here.

I would be concerned up there. Mariota regressed last year and they got lucky in KC during the play-offs. Vrabel is probably another Mularkey type except worse because he's not hands on with the offense as much. Meaning he's going to be relying more on LaFleur to handle Mariota and the offense and by all accounts it was McVay that made the calls and made Goff look good in L.A last year. Not him.

Honestly he hasn't been that much better than Bortles. He just had better structure around him from the beginning. You could argue that after last year he's officially peaked and won't grow much more. He's a system QB that has to have a decent defense and strong running game around him to allow him to function properly. He barely got it done last year and turned it over a lot more than usual. His red zone efficiency dipped as well.

Now a new coaching staff? I don't know man. They could be barely scraping by all season to break even at 8 - 8 this year.

That's what I took away from that as well. He actually stuck up for him from the giddy up on that question. We did play too conservative in New England and we stopped throwing it. You have to open it up more and take chances. No lead is safe in the NFL anymore.

Sorry did not put enough words in it to get my point across. The team seemed to be put off about other players talking trash about our QB. Then Jalen goes and trashes other teams QBS. That was my point not him trashing BB5. On a side note do you think the FO got word about this article and it played into his suspention?

Sorry did not put ..,

No.

Players can say whatever they want as long as they aren’t sharing the playbook or breaking a similar team rule.

He might get a little talking to over it, but not a suspension.

Jalen is a fantastic corner but now is starting to come off as an arrogant jerk.  Sometimes saying nothing is much more powerful.
I don't like what I'm seeing. Jalen went from being confident and brash to being a somewhat arrogant jerk. He's always had a big mouth, but he's been able to back it up. These comments just seemed completely unnecessary though. Maybe he needs a longer suspension to learn his lesson. Possibly the rest of the preseason. I've never been a fan of trash talking. I just want to see players go out there, do their jobs and act like professionals.
Gold. I love Jalen. Do yo thang bruh. Tell it how you see it man. Always tell the truth and the world will always try and crucify you for it.
I don't mind the talking; as long as he backs it up on the field. He makes some good points, but also jumps to strong conclusions on others who he hasn't faced. Yet! Smile Players like him that play his position have to be bold and think like this. Remember Deion and more recent Richard Sherman. There's others I'm sure. Shut down corners have to think like this and be brash. He kind of threw the coaching staff under the bus with them holding back things with Blake last year. But we already knew this, so it's not like it's mind-blowing. His support of Blake was a little shaky. But he's just being honest. We haven't been fully supportive of Blake as well; and our real support could turn into hate just like that if he takes steps backwards. So I think it's all just honesty.
Hey Jalen just play football

That's not true at all...

Same guy that cried vs the Lions. He is going to get beat a lot this year because his mouth

How do you figure that? It would be a two way street right? Shouldn't he come more prepared because of what he's said? At least the kid has fire in his belly. At least the kid seems to give a [BLEEP] about winning and losing. I think we're not used to that as fans. It would be different if he was all bark and no bite. But he's the top dog right now in the NFL at the CB position.
Jalen Ramsey should get a side gig as a Fantasy Football expert on ESPN.
