Texans CB Kevin Johnson suffers concussion vs. 49ers

Texans corner Kevin Johnson left Houston's preseason tilt against the 49ers early in the first quarter after suffering a concussion. The team announced Johnson will not return to the game.
they are pretty deep in the secondary, should be fine.
I’m sad for the player, happy for the fans.

I think he meant happy to see the fans upset.

That still doesn't make it any better.

Kevin Johnson will be back at some point so this isn't about him being gone for the season or something.

However saying that, this wasn't just some normal concussion.. Kevin Johnson lost control of his arms and was contorted after he hit his head, his teammates were visibly disturbed by it, and he had to be taken immediately to the hospital. Anybody who would be "happy" about any aspect of a player getting his brain scrambled has issues, regardless of what team the player plays for. I mean this guy must've been ecstatic that his team didn't have to play against Ryan Shazier  Rolleyes

This is something I'll never understand or can get behind. I'll never understand people who can get joy out of another player's injury. Especially concussions given what we now know about CTE and the long term effects injuries like this can have on these player's lives.
