Hi, Jaguars fans!

Jaguars and the 31 NFL Teams, are required to reduce the roster from up to their current 90 man roster, to the final 53 man roster for the upcoming regular season by 4:00 P.M.Eastern Standard Time, on September 1
Possibly familiar veterans and late round rookie draft picks might not make the final 53. Another changing of the guard for the Jaguars to reach steps closer to the Super Bowl.

Kevin Minter just got released. He might be a decent experienced vet backup for a LB spot.
Corey Coleman already cut a few weeks after Buf. traded for him. Biletnikoff Award winner from a few years ago.

Not surprising.
Most players acquired mid to late training camp are behind the 8 ball, unless it is a blockbuster deal.
Another team may try to sign him because he has speed. Some team will likely kick the tires on him, especially after an injury.
Roderick Johnson has been released by Houston. He was drafted in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft by Cleveland and released this spring. Houston picked him up and apparently have dropped interest in him.
I don't know if he is being released so often due to poor play or poor behavior, but I do remember that many had a high regard for him. I suspect his total lack of prerequisite style and form have caused the downward spiral. This is a very athletically talented BIG man, who doesn't have polish for franchise left tackle. See if he can play right tackle and/or excel at guard.
His draft credentials include:
The two-time first-team All-ACC pick has started every game on the blind side since midway through the 2014 season, when he garnered Freshman All-American honors for his play.

He has more than just speed. Biletnikoff Award winner, injuries set him back a bit and I think he has rubbed teams the wrong way for what ever reason. He asked to be traded so he got what was coming to him
UDFA OG Chris Gonzalez just cut by the 49ers. I know the jags showed interest in him in the pre-draft process.
LB Jeff Holland has been released by the Broncos.
He is a Trinity Christian guy, who was a number one college prospect. Many were expecting he might be the next great un-drafted pass rush specialist. NFL.com listed him as "EDGE" and provided him a 5.56 draft grade. 5.56 translates to a good chance to become and NFL starter.
His speed says 4.79 and he measures as a true tweener (6-2, 249)
I don't know???
Trey Marshall was also released by the Broncos. He was a Florida State player at safety. Some of those fans may know him.
Just about ANY player claimed off waivers at this point MUST contribute on special teams as a primary reason to be on the 53-man roster.
Jason Meyers has apparently won the kicking competition for the Jets. God bless them.

I don't see any pre-draft information on him anywhere. Draftscout.com ranked him 78th among 146 OG pro prospects. I wonder why the Jaguars showed interest in him? He measured at the Combine, but apparently was out of commission with a pectoral injury. He ran the majority of drills at his pro day, but did NOT lift.

Jason meyer won the kicker job on the jets
WR Breshad Perriman waived by Ravens
DE Michael Johnson waived by Bengals
The only players I would be interested in adding to our roster would definitely be at OT and perhaps WR. I'm pretty comfortable with our roster.
I know the Jags probably think they are set at RB, but I would love to have an RB like Gillislee on the team.

We only have 3 RB on the roster. They'll pick someone up. Maybe Scarbrough, he could be a battering ram backup in the LF mold if his ankle woes crop up again.
