The FBI is investigating Tallahassee City government.  We know that Gillum and his wife shared a large villa in Costa Rica with lobbyists and investors.  The investors had invested in a restaurant, and the restaurant received millions of dollars in loans from the City.

Is this politics as usual? After all, we know that our federal politicians routinely show up at luxurious, closed-door "retreats" paid for by big donors.  Justice Antonin Scalia died at a hunting lodge he was staying at, paid for by a man who had upcoming business with the Supreme Court.

Or is this a big deal?
It will be a big deal for some, you can count on it. Probably the same people who think the FBI only investigates Trump.
Politicians are corrupt. What am I looking at here?
Mrh that has nothing to do with why I would oppose him. His own words of wanting to bring collectivism to Florida is a bigger reason. His proposition to raise corporate taxes 40% is a bigger one. His minimum wage of $15 is a huge one. Heck any one of those could send the states strong economy into a tailspin.

That's not even talking about his crazy multistate healthcare for all non sense. Oh and his nevemind you get the point .....

Hes not gonna win, even the moderate Democrats don't want a socialist. I expect he will lose by 10%+.
Polls actually show Gollum ahead

Both of them?

The more DeSantis makes a big deal of Gillum's ethics probes, the worse it's going to get. Gillum can play the race card all the way to Scott's old office, and he will if DeSantis keeps pushing that ethics probe. The best move DeSantis can make is to shut up about it and wait for the FBI to do its thing.
I follow politics about as much as the average person and I didn't even know Gillum was running until the night of the opening preseason game when I saw a yard sign downtown by the bus station.

C'mon man. You think a state that helped put Don in the WH would put a guy like Gillum in the governor's mansion 2 years later?

Ron could shoot someone in the street and still win by double digits.

It would be no more surprising than voting for Obama in 2008 then voting for Scott in 2010.
