Quote:Bortles has had 3 interceptions this year which have hit the receivers firmly in the hands. He's been pretty unfortunate, amazing how some are willing to throw him under a bus.

I'd agree with that. While they weren't great passes more often or not you would expect them to fall incomplete, if anything. Also, wasn't one on a last ditch heave?

Terrible luck so far.
The ones that were slightly behind Lee you really expect the wr to catch you certainly don't expect them to be intercepted. It's unrealistic to expect the ball to be perfect everytime and the fact he got both hands on shows they were relatively accurate.

The fumble this week was a bit of a [BLEEP] moment but that's Blake when in desperation mode. He's cut out the unnecessary brain fades. He could easily have had a couple more TDs and a few less ints.

That was the point I was getting at. People want to bemoan Blake's decision making when, according to my eyes, he isn't making anywhere near the number of bad decisions as he has the previous two seasons. Some dicey throws? Yes. However, bad throws and bad decisions are not the same thing.

Lest we forget he has thrown a good few interceptions that have been dropped by defenders. I think it all balances out in the end.
Anyone think that his wind up is due to uncertainty and thinking too much?  Honestly when he is on the move that big hitch isn't there.  I think he is being "over coached" to be safe until the game is either out of reach or they have to up the tempo to win/get back in it.

Anyone like drew brees?  Yeah watch this slow down

We have the Leftwich experience that is really pile driving this idea down on us but really it isn't everything.

Good: Offensive and Defensive Lines. Offensive line is protecting Bortles, but they suck on run block. Defensive line is stopping the run but could use a little more pressure.

Bad: Bortles for the first 3 quarters. The INT wasn't on him but he was pretty inaccurate in that first half. The 4th quarter he played great.

Ugly: Our running game. Same story different day.

Very true, good point.

Good point about the OLine.  I was really worried about the Offensive Line before the season but I have to say, they have been decent.  Not great but they may be one Guard away from being pretty good.

Is that one guard Cann?

No, I am thinking the LG spot

I know, I was joking...but for real Omameh has been the 2nd best lineman on our team since Joeckel got hurt. I'm skeptical that he can keep this level of play up, but if he does that would be quite a find.
Parnell hasn't given up any sacks according to PFF. Anyone find this surprising? I'm almost sure I've seen him give up one or two.

One according to BCC, but if I remember correctly I thought it was more Bortles' fault.

The Good: We won

The Bad: The first 3 quarters

The Ugly: How we won

Ah the Andrew luck special. You can't just count them for Blake and not your mate.

Every QB throws passes that are near picks. Luck does too of course.

Is Blake still top dog in the division?
