I would like to give a thumbs up for Yeldon. He stepped up and had a solid all around game. He picked up a few blitzes. And he did a good job in the shotgun by being patient and finding the hole inside.

Then he had a nice tippy toe catch on his touchdown.

Fournette was averaging 4.6 a pop before he pulled up with a hamstring.

Also I didn’t see Grant today. Did he play? I was working while trying to watch the game so I didn’t notice.
Yeldon is under appreciated IMO. Even in the bad years the guy would get hit 3 yards deep in the backfield and still manage to pick up half a yard.
He and Grant will be a fine combo for as long as LF is out, just like they were last year. Unfortunately LFs 80s throwback offensive needs and Grants modern NFL skill set clash so I don't think they gameplan very well for the two of them (although they did show glimpses in the preseason), but Yeldon and Grant could make for some very creative stuff if Hackett is allowed to draw it up like that.
