Those kind of celebrations are not going on anymore. The team huddles up in the locker room after a win, and after that they all still look kinda angry.

To funny

Was pretty much rock bottom I think.  How convenient that it has been encapsulated in an animated gif.  Any measurement of where we are right now has to have the above moment as it's starting point.
One regular season win for Gus was like winning the SB. One regular season win for Marrone is just one more step to our main goal, a SB

I don't know, the Thursday night game against the T*tans was as baaaad as I've ever seen us. Down by 24 or 27-0 at the half, guys arguing with each other. Just awful in both sides of the ball.

And the D had Yannick, Fowler, Malik, Poz, Jack, Telvin, Ramsey and Gyp!

The talent plays a big role too, but you’re right. There’s a stark difference in how the talent is being coached.

Quick! Tell Rico!

But seriously, it finally feels like we are back to "professional" coaching around here and not just some jocks who tell stories about how great they were "back in their day". I will admit though, I was not expecting this. Nor was I expecting to like Marrone as much as I do. But I think he is a fine coach who knows how to deal with talent.

I completely agree with you, I was pretty underwhelmed with Marrone especially with the names of other coaches moving and the O line hadn't looked great under him.

But I love him, he's funny, he's tough and he doesn't give a damn. This team never had an identity under Gus, something we were one of the best in the league at, but the strides we have made in such a short time and the majority of it seems coaching rather than bringing in a whole host of new guys.
