This coaching staff would make it so much easier for me to believe if we stopped taking our roster (round peg) and trying to jam it into the Seattle mold (square hole).

The DE position historically takes a while to figure out on the NFL level. Ngakoue's development is an outlier.


Lots of first and second round picks at DE have looked average or worse going into their third season before the lights came on and the production started.


Fowler needs development. I don't doubt that he could play a LB role, but I don't think we know all that much about him as a pass rusher just yet.

So y'all want our #3 overall pick to not be a defensive end? That's flat out saying it was a bad pick. You don't take a LB at 3.
