Allen and Darnold already were.
Baker officially named starter today.
Rosen officially named starter like 5 min ago.
Let's see who succeeds most.
Baker will be the best of the bunch this year and forever is my guess. I was totally sold on the guy long before the Browns got him #1 overall.
I think Darnold has a pretty good season this year but he needs help on the O
I was pretty anti-Allen... and I must admit, this past game has me wondering if I know what I'm talking about at all... but, he could easily falter.
Interested to see what Rosen can do with a whole game and full week prep
Lamar Jackson the only rookie QB drafted in the 1st not a starter
I like all 4 of those guys coming out along with Rudolph.
Jackson probably won't see the field this year unless Flacco gets hurt. He's playing good enough right now.

yep
I honestly think in the long run it's what's best for him. Flacco is 33. I think they're about finished with his contract extension with the possibility of opting out of it by 2020.
No need to rush Jackson into the starting line up just yet. Ozzie Newsome is smart. By the time they're finishing up with Flacco he'll have another decent team in place to support Jackson in the long run.
The AFC North is looking at a major change shortly if the Bengals and Steelers don't finish strong. Could be up for grabs by 2019 / 2020. It's slowly trending in that direction already.

Thats always is whats best for any rookie QB. Sometimes you dont have a choice when the starer gets injured like the Browns and the Bills. Or your QB is just stinking it up like the situation in Arizona or like how Bortles got thrown in because Henne was so bad.
If your QB is a proven vet and having a decent year, why would you want to throw in the rookie?

Jackson will only see the field in preseason for his career. Unless the starter gets hurt.
Based on what I saw, he ain’t NFL material at QB.
I think Darnold is headed to ‘Bust then Backup’ land. He stares down receivers and just doesn’t pass the eyeball test.
I’ve praised Allen on here a couple of times and he proved it in Minnesota. He gonna be good.
Mayfield needs another game or two to prove he’s the real deal. He looked pretty damned good against the Jets and is super accurate. He just seems like a mild head case to me. We’ll see. I hope he keeps it together.
