Every single one of our remaining games in winnable. Not one of these teams that we face the rest of the year has an elite quarterback, or really much of an elite player at all, with the exception of Von Miller and Khalil Mack, and we get both of these teams at home. Obviously I'm not saying we're going to win out, but if this team figures it out and plays to their potential, they can play with and beat everyone of these teams.
The Titans are playing good football right now. Too bad the Colts didn't beat Texans.
Quote:this to me is the most likely outcome and might even be optimistic.

Hasn't this always been the story?
No we havent had this much talent in about 10 years

I dont mind the Colts losing, let them get buried, Texans not that good they still will lose a lot more
7 or 8 wins tops

Nothing less than a winning record is optimistic.

Have you watched a single Vikings or Broncos game this season? Did you watch any Broncos games the last two years? Nobody who has can truthfully state Minnesota's defense has no elite players or that only one player on Denver's defense is elite.

Also, everyone who has watched at least one Vikings game this year knows Sam Bradford is having the best season of his career. He is having a great season.

Yes I've watched them and yes we can beat them. Go Jags!
The reason I'm so optimistic is because I believe the offense is capable of so much more than they've shown so far. I honestly think this offense will start scoring 27-30 ppg, and that the defense will do nothing but improve off of their fairly strong beginning to the year.

So you must know Von Miller is not Denver's only elite player.

Obviously defense will be the key to winning that game.

Not sure Id say anyone else on the Broncos is "elite" however they have very solid starters in alot of places. They also seem to work as a pretty solid team most of the time as well, which is very important in getting the W's.

I really think we have a solid chance at winning a handful more of games if our O could kick start themselves. Our D has been playing pretty well as of late and should only get better.

What about DeMarcus Ware? He will be back in a few weeks.
my teal toting kool aid drinking [BLEEP] sees us winning 9, MAYBE 10 if we come on strong late and sweep the division 6-0. Otherwise I see another up and down year, maybe 6-10. Do you think Gus stays at 6-10?

I see the broncos fan is still lingering around here in the Jaguars forum.

He was very good in the past and once he is back at it he could be very good again, I personally dont think he is elite however, but does add a great element to that D

The fan base will be completely lost if we enter next season with Gus after he finishes with 6 wins. Even Caldwell/Khan expect around 8 wins... even a winning record.

I hope for the season to end in a butt whooping in the playoffs, but I expect less than 7 wins and Gus is a goner.
Bump...because that other thread looks very similar to this one.

I want what some of you are smoking.

I don't smoke.
