Pretty decent slate of games this week. Going to have to tell the wife she can go to her fall festivals on her own this weekend.
TAMU/Alabama = Game of the Week
I hope it is not a repeat of the blowout in Knoxville.

Wow. Is it really?

Two Top 10 teams in the SEC. Why not?
I was wondering what that sonic boom was earlier..
I've got a big time Halloween party to attend this weekend so watching the evening may be tough. I hope to catch that Auburn Arkansas game though. I think that'll be the most competitive game of the week.
A Halloween party on October 22? That looks a week early to me.

I can stay on topic but there is no reason to leave your posts alone.
Auburn/Arkansas does not stand out to me on the competition scale.

Lol if it was only that easy
Bama is so good they almost take the fun out of watching their games.
I'm going to focus on rooting against WVU @ 3:30pm

I'm just hoping that long con she's got going on is a tree that I can chop down with steady, resilient swings. One swing at a time man, one swing at a time.
Wisconsin is coming to Kinnick and Iowa has to play good football for all 4 quarters. They haven't been able to do that this season unfortunately.
It will be interesting to see how Wisconsin rebounds after that loss. They were set up to win that game and it was a tough ending. Iowa has a good shot to get them while they are down.

In a kind of weird way, I'm fascinated by them. While they do have a talent advantage in some games, it's not like it's "across the board" with them. That, and they don't run any kind of new fangled, schematic twist Offense. They line up in a rather predictable way and just play how they know how to play. It must be very similar to watching Lombardi's Packers. You know that Sweep is coming, but what are you gonna do about it?
I haven't watched a ton of Bama this year, but the best part of Bama in the past was their offensive and defensive lines. They recruit that so well and they develop those guys. I think that is why they have been so consistent and their run game just keeps them rolling.

If Iowa plays like they did in the first half last week I like our chances.
If Iowa plays like conservative Kirk Ferentz then I don't like our chances.

Watching their offensive line and then watching FSU's makes me sad.
Watching their offensive and watching a lot of teams can make you sad. They work well together, even the young guys even seem to come in and gel quickly.
