I'm ready to move on.

Some things to keep an eye on this week:

1. RB? Who will the team acquire to help out Yeldon. Wilds is useless.
2. Oline help? We need it. Trade?
3. Will they bounce back?
Yea, I'm a little more concerned about the o line. Parnell looked horrible and the LT is now in question. Especially with the way Bortles was getting hit.
Parnell looked bad, but that might be an outlier. He's played well until that game. I'm also concerned about getting a RB.
Dallas pass rush presents a huge problem. Can the offense avoid those deadly turnovers? We are currently 31st in the league in turnover differential sitting at -7. This is a massive issue that needs to come to an immediate stop. If it doesn't, Dallas wins.

1.  That's a big question mark.  Not much available on the street.
2.  I doubt if we see a trade.  Again, not much help available.
3.  Yes they will bounce back.
Yeah - the cowboys pass rush is definitely the chief concern this week. Even if our starting tackles were in place and looking good. Of course - we're on our third LT and our RT just put a real stinker on film yesterday.

This will affect the offensive gameplan and Dallas will likely adjust to defend it. I think Hackett will need to get creative with the dink and dunk stuff and drill the crap out of it this week so Bortles can (hopefully) be more comfortable executing it. Bortles won't have time in the pocket.

Dallas is fairly stingy against the run but only slightly above average giving up 95 ypg.

Seeing Alfred Blue hurt them a bit last night leads me to believe Yeldon can too, but Hackett will have to stick with it this time and incorporate those swing passes, angle routes or whatever it takes to get him the ball with a chance to turn upfield.

I expect the team to acquire Darkwa or Dayes at RB this week as well for added depth. Whatever good things Wilds did in the preseason - he seems to wilt under the big lights against starters.

Agree on all points.

Seahawks traded for Duane Brown last season so I'm hoping the Jags can find something along those lines. I'd call the Saints about Mark Ingram but the Jags worked out 2 RBs last week so I'd assume it would be one of those guys.

I also agree they bounce back. I actually think they bounce back in a big way this week.
I’d trade a 3rd for Leveon and keep him on a one year deal. Then let him walk in FA and recoup the third rounder as a compensatory pick

Why does everyone think they can get Bell to even show up to the facility on a one year deal?

LOL

HE'S HOLDING OUT BECAUSE HE WANTED A MULTI-YEAR CONTRACT OVER THE TAG!!! NOT GONNA' HAPPEN.

Lol and the Steelers are not trading him to Jacksonville. That may be the last place they would trade him.

On what planet does a team trade an elit back to the team that just eliminated them from the playoffs??
What is wrong with people on this L. Bell train??

Because he’s about to show up to the Steelers on his one year deal pending the bye week.
Question: if we do pick up another RB, will he be ready in time to play Dallas? I don't know how difficult it would be to learn our offensive game plan, but I would guess it might take some time.

That's still three weeks away  -  and the squealers are definitely not trading him to an AFC contender - AND the steelers are still adamant about "the right price" in a trade.  Do you think a mid-to-late third is going to be enough?

Sure. If he's not a dummy and he can  simply learn 4 or 5 plays to run when they need to spell Yeldon ar utilize two backs. It's one of the easier spots to fit in quickly with. He doesn't have to know the whole offense by any stretch.
1. I think we definitley bring in Darkwa now
2. Trade for Joe Staley
3. Yes
-We definitely need a RB to help Yeldon who is already playing hurt.
-I think Parnell will bounce back, yesterday's game was horrible but he's usually reliable. LT is another story and it's really worrying. If we have to spend a 2019 midround pick on the OL, let's do it. It's that important.
-I think the team bounces back.
Not that I'm advocating for Bell but the Steelers aren't getting a compensatory pick for Bell as I read somewhere that it would even out with their Free Agent signings this year. If they're getting compensation for Bell it will be this year before the trade deadline. I still think a second rounder is what he'll be traded for if he's even traded at all.

So, essentially we get Bell for the rest of the year and upgrade our 3rd round pick when he leaves to a bad team.

Sounds good to me.  Wonder why Coughlin and Caldwell aren't smart enough to make great moves like this.

Who says they haven’t made a phone call? Chances are the Steelers are either asking higher from teams interested or don’t want to trade him. We don’t know
