Hi, Jaguars Nation!   Smile Our  3-2 Jacksonville Jaguars are in North Texas,  to play the Dallas Cowboys in their first regular season visit, and second visit to AT&T Stadium, in eight years.  Today is also the seventh meeting between the teams, with the series between the Jaguars and Cowboys tied at 3 games apiece, but Jacksonville outscored Dallas in the previous six games, 140 points to 129 points.

Leonard Fournette, D.j. Hayden, and Tre Herndon are out with their hamstring and toe injuries. Questionable  to be active to play include Calais Campbell (ankle),  Malik Jackson (back),  Brandon Linder, Yannick Ngakoue,  Andrew Norwell, Jermey Parnell and Jalen Ramsey (knee) are also game time decisions.

Despite their loss last week at the Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville is still #1 in the NFL in both Total Defense, and Passing Defense, but rank #14 in Rushing Defense, allowing 101.2 yards per game after five games. Jaguars is also currently #9 in the NFL Total Offense, and #25 in Scoring Offense.

Jaguars QB David Garrard threw four touchdown passes - 10 yards to Mike Sims-Walker,   15 yards to Mike Thomas, and two TD passes from 42 yards and 9 yards to Marcedes Lewis.  Garrard also added his 2-yard TD run, followed by Josh Scobee's 5 PAT's completed Jacksonville's game scoring, as they defeated the Cowboys 35-17, back on October 31, 2010.

Jim Nantz and former Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo are announcing the live TV game commentary, along with sideline reporter and interviewer Tracy Wolfson, for The NFL On CBS's marquee late doubleheader game, shown regionally in most of the USA, including locally on WJAX-TV CBS Channel 47, live on HD.

Frank Frangie and former Jaguars lineman Jeff Lageman and Tony Boselli are also announcing the live game play-by-play and analysis, simulcast on flagship stations WJXL 1010AM and 92.5FM. WGNE 99.9FM, the Jaguars Radio Network, and also access on the game audio both in your laptop and smartphones on both https://jaguars.com/ and the Jacksonville Jaguars mobile app.

AT&T Stadium's retractable roof may be closed for the 4:25 PM Eastern Standard Time game time, because outside the stadium area in Arlington, Texas, the game forecast is mostly cloudy skies at 77 degrees, feels like 81 degrees, 18% precipitation, 76% humidity and southeast winds at 6 miles per hour at kickoff, followed by gradual and progressive thunderstorms.

Head Linesman Tony Corrente leads his NFL officiating crew to supervise the game action on the AT&T Stadium field with the Jaguars and Cowboys.

Both the Jaguars and Cowboys players, their coaching and team support staffs, and the rest of the NFL teams, along with field and stadium signage throughout AT&T Stadium, may voluntarily wear NFL authorized pink-colored team apparel by Nike and New Era, to support the NFL's annual campaign to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the American Cancer Society throughout October.

NO injuries, win your fourth out of six regular season games and go back into the win column in Texas, and LET'S GO JAGUARS!!!!!!    Wink    Smile  DUVVVALLLLLL!!!!  Cool   Big Grin

Man a win would relieve a lot of the tension and pressure this team is facing right now
I didnt realize Lawrence popped his torn labrum last week. He may not even play tomorrow against us, which would be a HUGE break for the Jags.
Feel like we have half a makeshift roster right now... pretty uncomfortable. Hopefully guys can produce enough to get a Win on the road against a team struggling to find offense.
Gonna need the Jags to pull this one off. We are straight up getting decimated by injuries on offense.
I think we win but make a meal of it on offense.
I had a bad feeling about tacks. Had a bad feeling about Chiefs.

This week I feel like they bounce back in a big way. Big game for Jackson in the middle. Ramsey makes a huge play to show Dallas they made a mistake. Bortles and Yeldon play  very well and Charles gets a score.

Jags win 31-13.

Sounds good, where do we sign to watch this game?

Hope so. The team seems to play well after stinking it up so there's hope!

He's had a torn labrum for 2 years. Plus, just saw 5 minutes ago that Ian Rapoport said he is expected to play against us.

Yeah, he'll apparently have a brace to somehow prevent further injury on it. Irving is back too, but he's only practiced 3 times since November so will likely be limited.

Sean Lee is out though and their defense has been lost when he doesn't play.
Jags need to get back to running the ball. If Bortles throws 35+ times we lose. Plain and simple.
I think we'll see at least 30 passes from Blake, but the majority will be of the dink and dunk variety as protection will likely be an issue. Hopefully they won't need him to do much more than that and the run game will provide the cushion he needs to thrive in this injury-riddled offense.

A little creativity form Hackett could really help today.

sidebar: will DeCamillis finally greenlight that reverse they've been faking on kickoff returns?
Dallas is basically in shambles. Will be a sad day if we lose this one. I think they're over Garrett as their coach. Prescott was a one hit wonder and they have no go to targets. Their offensive line has been one of the worst in the league, don't let Zeke make any big plays and as long as the offense doesn't lose it for us we should be good.

Their offense is in shambles. Their defense is not.

8th ranked overall in yards allowed per game.

I mean they aren't bad defensively.. which is why I'm saying the offense can't make dumb mistakes and beat ourselves again. No going to their red zone 5 times and getting 0 points out of it...
The Jaguar Offensive Coordinator needs courage and creativity. What good are padded statistics if you lose! Come out swinging with medium to long passing plays. If conventional does not work, go for out of the box thinking. Take a risk every now and then. I would rather lose fighting aggressively , than 'safe' plays that pad statistics, rather than fight for a WIN.

I appreciate the intent and the line of thinking here, but I just don't know if this offensive line will buy Bortles time to throw many deep passes against a very good cowboys pass rush today.
