Teams running the Seattle Scheme/Variant.

Atlanta Falcons - 30th in yards/game, 31st in points/game(31st in total yards, 32nd in total points)

Carolina Panthers - 16th in yards/game, 11th in points/game (6th in total yards, 7th in total points)

Indianapolis Colts - 23rd in yards/game, 30th in points/game (24th in total yards, 31st in total points)

LA Chargers - 14th in yards/game, 16th in points/game(17th in total yards, 18th in total points)

Miami Dolphins - 26th in yards/game, 17th in points/game(26th in total yards, 19th in total points)

New Orleans Saints - 19th in yards/game, 26th in points/game(9th in total yards, 17th in total points)

Seattle Seahawks - 7th in yards/game, 6th in points/game(12th in total yards, 9th in total points)

San Francisco 49ers -12th in yards/game, 28th in points/game(5th in total yards, 20th in total points)

Dallas Cowboys -5th in yards/game, 2nd in points/game(11th in total yards, 3rd in total points)

On average teams will face this defensive scheme 5 times a year.

The NFL is a copycat league, but you'll notice that the great coaches in this league will buck the trend. It took a while for the Seattle scheme to be exposed, but it's exposed. It's not worth following the trends. We need a defensive coordinator that will utilize our talent and scheme around what we have on our team. NOT drop Defensive Tackles into coverage.
