[BLEEP]. This team is falling apart. And it's only on the offense. Unless this team starts playing the 1976 Steelers, 2000 Ravens or 2002 Buccaneers on defense we're in for a long, long rest of the season.
The reason I can think of Bryan being the pick is because they must of had him graded a good bit more than any offensive player, because if it was close you would think they would of taken the guy that could help us more this year as well as in the future.

The 2000 Ravens and 2002 Bucs had game managers who didn't turn the ball over at QB.

Jags do not have that.

So, uh, what's Kyle Brady up to on Sunday?

Football doesn't work like that. Madden does. Madden isn't football.
At some point we may need to buy some duct tape to hold the offense together

Or promote and start Tanner Lee so that when the QB is inevitably turned into a greasy smear on the field, nothing of value is lost.

If I were him, I'd rest as much as possible this year and next season prior to busting loose on his Contract Year (season 4).  Take note of the abuse the Steelers placed on Le'Veon making him less valuable.    Elite RBs need to protect themselves through their rookie contract.

Unfortunately, due to current NFL rules, it is illegal for a team to play like any of those defenses.

Dilfer actually turned the ball over quite a bit.
In his 8 starts (11 games played) that year he had 12 TDs and 11 INTs.

That D was so good they won in spite of their QB play.
So maybe everyone can simmer down on comparing us to those great defenses lol

Also Brad Johnson loved turning the ball over, except that one season lol
Kinda like Garrard during our 07 run. He was a turnover machine.... except that season (where he missed 3 games, just like Brad Johnson did for the Bucs that year)

We have McKever on the practice squad. We are going to need a special teams body if nothing else.
When did Will Richardson get hurt? Our TE and tackle depth is laughable at this point.

I agree. That's why this defense would have to play as good those squads. 76' Steelers pitched 5 shutouts that year. All they had to do was find a way to kick a FG and they won it. The Ravens and Buccaneers I think pitched a shut out or two or at least held opponents to under 10 points in multiple games.

The rules of course don't favor them anymore. But we'll see. Hopefully they can turn it around on offense.

McKever is a tight end. Lazard is a wide receiver. That's the point I was making. I don't know that we'll bring another tight end on, given our injuries along the OL and in the secondary. Our third tight end is likely to be an offensive lineman.
Just heard we traded for Carlos Hyde at RB. Anybody else hear that?

Confirmed via Schefter, fifth-round pick.
Texans should be down to their #5 CB and just lost starting RG. If Jag's don't take care of business tomorrow, they may not turn it around this season.
