Hi, Jaguars fans!    Wink   A battle of 3-3 teams in the AFC South as our Jacksonville Jaguars return to TIAA Bank Field to play the Houston Texans.  Texans won their last three games after losing their first three games to begin their NFL season, and second-year QB DeShaun Watson is their full-time QB for the Texans.

Jaguars acquired Carlos Hyde from the Browns for a fifth-round pick to increase the running-back depth, as Leonard Fournette is slowly recovering in his foot injury.

Jaguars try to end their two-game losing streak,  defense have allowed 70 points in their last two road games at Kansas City and Dallas while their offense produced only 21 offensive points in those games.   Jacksonville routed Houston 45-7 in both teams last meeting played at then-named EverBank Field back on December 17, 2017.

Houston through leads the all-time regular season series over Jacksonville with 19 wins and 13 losses, in today's 33rd meeting.

Head Linesman Ron Tolbert leads his NFL officiating crew to supervise the game action between the Jaguars and Texans.

NO injuries for the 1:05PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff from TIAA Bank Field, and GO JAGUARS!!!!!   Wink   Smile    Cool    Big Grin

Sad that after starting the season 0-3 Houston will be in first place in the AFC South assuming they win this game. Just hoping for a competitive Jaguars team this week. These last 2 weeks were pretty brutal. Team looks flat in every phase. Maybe we look like we practiced for a change and have some urgency. If we got to the bye week at 4-4 I'd be happy.
Showdown time....Let's go Jaguars!
Time to pull out all stops. Wearing the Smeenge jersey today.

I'm going all in with Natrone Means.
Hyde with a chance to play. Love it

I can have him ready.

Run play: "Carlos, run here."

Pass play: "Carlos, blast Watt"
I'm not confident about this one folks, have a *hunch* JJ Watt is gonna ruin us, hopefully we can do some of our own against that awful line and touch up Watson all game...all legally of course.......
In NC mountains today, frost this morning, won't make it back for the game. Please tell me no teal pants.

J.J. has been down about missing his 'moneymaker' the jags games the last couple of years. And with our offensive line the way it is, we will be lucky to get out of this one with less than 5 sacks from the texans (not just watt, I am pegging him at 3).

I expect Watt will cause much havoc. This should be balanced out by our dline also wrecking house against a somehow even worse oline than ours. I expect a very ugly game, but I have a feeling the Jags pull it out.

3-0 in white pants
I don't know why but I have a good feeling about today, this team has taken plenty of kicks in the media, fans are worried and players and coaches not at their level the last two games, a win today, and a T*tans L and we are heading to London in first and a shot at 5-3.

But we need to be much improved on the last two weeks.
And the worst oline in the league is even worse with the Texans starting RG out today. Our dline should completely take over this game.
Hyde is inactive as is O'Shaugnessey.

Does that have Bell as our starting TE?

Ah, yes, thought I must be missing someone. Our starters change on a week to week basis at the moment!

Going to need them to step up somehow.

No worries, he played a few snaps last week so kinda surprised he didn't get put on IR this week the way this year is going.
