Quote:J Stew wasn't hurt last year. He's been hurt this year and our run game, that was so strong last year, is garbage.
Again....you said he wasn't proficient. Since then you've turned it to him not being accurate and him not being mentally strong. You're all over the place with your hate Cam argument.
Yeah.... A proficient passer would not have those deficiencies I talked about. Idk how that's so hard to understand.

LOL Losing Brad Nortman obviously did not help either.
Yeah...we suck badly. Just ridiculous

I can imagine how disappointing this game was. Yet, with the Panthers history of digging out of big holes and the NFC South not having a team ahead of them that looks like a world beater, there's still hope for the Panthers. W/o saying, the margin of error is slim though.

Well, those Panthers have nothing on us Jags, nothing at all.

When you lose 4 games by last second FGs it because you're not good enough to win.

This was on our coaches. And our inability to finish a game

Yes you are. If you want to talk about a team not being good enough to win, watch one that has not scored a TD on its first drive in a couple years.

With the Saints also coming off a brutal loss, it's going to the interesting to see how both teams respond on Thursday Night.

Except the Saints loss today is controversial. I doubt white shoes (seriously) had anything to do with Carolina's close call losses.
The Seahawks dismantled the Pink Panthers. My...how the mighty have fallen.
Last year was pure luck. I mean,,,,what happen to this team?

There might be hope they won't finish at the bottom of the NFCS, but Atlanta and Tampa Bay are 7-5. Their chances of leaping over either team is only mathematical.

Last year was not luck at all. Carolina was a really good team. This stuff happens to Super Bowl participants.

The two straight road losses probably ended any realistic chance for the Panthers to win the NFC South or make it to the playoffs as a Wildcard team. Injuries have certainly had an adverse affect on them.
It's a good organization. I can easily envision the Panthers rebounding next season.

What does not make sense is they won 18 games with more injuries last year. They started looking bad despite being healthier. What's up with that?

Last season, the Panthers had much more continuity on their Offensive Line. They also had Josh Norman at CB.
The MNF loss to the Bucs probably wouldn't have happened if Cam Newton was healthy enough to play.
Losing Jonathan Stewart for part of the season was significant.
Not having Luke Kuechly in the last two games was a huge loss.

After Week 1 in Jacksonville last year, Luke Keuchly spent three weeks in the concussion protocol.
We can speculate all day about the impact of missing Cam Newton at Tampa Bay, but that was long before people have been whispering the Buccaneers might get in. Maybe Carolina would have lost anyway.
