Quote:Or...it's obvious you don't understand basic defense and calling me Bradley's brother seemed like a better option rather than just asking what I meant. Kudos
Whatever helps you sleep better. Haha.

That was not a smart move and moves like that happen way too often with this staff.

They cannot be gone soon enough. This team needs better coaching.

Which is why I asked you if you want to refrain from blitzing, because in a zone-blitz someone's gotta drop...

What doesn`t make sense?
This I will disagree on.  Olson is to blame for this not Gus.

Malik HAS to drop?

You do know that technically, Gus is the worst coach in history right?

A bed helps me sleep better...when someone calls me a relative of a coach because they have trouble with simple defensive concepts...nah you right, I'm going to sleep so much better

Why doesn't it?

No, but someone does. This week they tried with him. He has done it once. Did it cause a touchdown?
Give him credit for what? After building a team with high first round draft picks, boocoo money for free agents, and 4 off seasons and training camps, he pulls out a single win in the 4th quarter against a 1-4 team QB'd by Hoyer? Good grief.

It led to a TD....

It's a bad play call that they keep calling. It hasn't worked with any of the lineman they put in.

This staff also continues to play Skuta who looks lost out there.

The players didn't win in spite of coaching

Keep the excuses coming.

It was a terrible use of personnel and one of many Gus and his staff have made.

why all the hate on hoyer?  I will never get how a guy who does not have many ints nor sacks.  Is a bad qb.

The alternative is to have Poz in man coverage on blitzes, which led directly to a score...
Quote:Did the Bears convert any 3rd downs in the second half?
None.

They still had 6 or 7 first downs though. (one came on 1st and 20)

Regardless, the failure to play aggressively on third down in the first half so many times screamed game-plan failure to me.

Watching the same plays that SD exploited this defense with working flawlessly after a bye week was a tough pill.

That has to get fixed. I can't fathom an excuse.

So now you're changing your tune? Dropping lineman in coverage is not working yet they keep trying. What part of that are you failing to understand?

How about Jack in man coverage? He's only the best cover LB to come out of college in a long time.

He's a career average QB. Didja see all the inaccurate throws he made? After all the money and draft picks we've used to upgrade our defense and his inaccuracies we should have won this game with Bradley sitting at the ice cream parlor.

Bradley is the worst head coach in NFL history.
