Bet Bouye is relieved, he's been to-do this year.
Those injuries don't matter. BOAT is showing up full throttle ... make no mistake about it. BOAT is going to be rocking across the pond expect a MVP performance.
Malcolm Jenkins recently called out Bortles. Pederson called out Marrone in his book regarding the Jags strategy against the Patriots in the AFCC game. I hope to god our team comes out fired up to play on Sunday.

They can be fired up all they want.

We’ve just been ravaged by injuries I don’t see how we pull of the victory

Not only are they rookies, but they're all UDFAs. It's going to be interesting to see Meeks thrown into the fire like this since it was a draftable prospect. Hope he looks like the 3rd-4th rounder some had projected him to be.

I expect absolutely nothing from Marrone. I think he absolutely sucks. Bortles doesn't, he will throw down a few brews across the pond show up on Sunday and ball out. Book it.
We are screwed. Lol.
This franhise is literally cursed. [BLEEP] disgusting

Seasons over. Was before this new rash of injuries anyways
Well, it looks like 2008 all over again. We better not blow up this thing, and hire some retread. I can't take that again. Give it one more year at least before we do that.
Yeah it's really starting to sink in. Our season is over halfway through the year. Watching the Texans hang 43 on Miami seemingly effortlessly really nails it in. I expect we bounce back in the second half of the season, but fall just short of a wild card birth. Definitely not going to be a disastrous season, but middle of the pack, which is disappointing.. I'll change my mind if we manage to pull off an upset against Philly AND sweep the Colts.
Fournette is on the practice field in London.

he is not going to play this week, 100%... they may as well hold him out this week and then the bye week to make sure he is 110% healthy

also, the texans have the worst offensive line in the league.. the worst, and look what a good QB can do anyways..

it cant be stated enough how much good coaching, and good QB play can do for a team, those 2 positions alone are probably 70% or more of a team's success before factoring in every other position combined

the jags are failing at both and trying to get by with the other 30%

The run game is whats propelling the Texans right now. All their concepts are playing off that.
We have to do something similar. The coaches really need to emphasize the run, its the only way to save the season.

having a QB who can make plays is propelling the texans right now, that alone opens up the running game

the texans O-line is easily the worst unit in the league, by a large margin

a good QB makes the running game easier as well

Their run game is whats hiding that oline along with Watsons mobility. Most of their chunk plays are coming off play action. Also they are on schedule for down and distance because of the run game which is causing defending linebackers and safeties out of position.
If defenses stop the run, the oline gets exposed and in turn exposing Watson to all those hits he has been taking.

No doubt Watson is playing well, but it all comes down to the running game. Its the reason the Colts and Bills were able to keep up.
