NFL fires official who missed false start in Browns game

The NFL has fired down judge Hugo Cruz, No. 94, effective immediately according to FootballZebras.com. Cruz was not “maintaining a very high level of performance over a sustained period."

They need to fire the line judge in every Jags game this year.

Goodness knows they don't call offensive holding much when the Jaguars are on defense.

Exactly what I was thinking.
I seriously couldn't believe the non-calls on the Campbell and Dareus holds today. Maybe they need to fire a few more of these guys.

I'm kidding. But - It really does seem the league has mandated a relaxed approach to the o-line holding calls.
