Way to lead the way.  Fans going to fan. Enjoy your season.  Nice classy forum name selection as well.
Never say never but realistically we're done
I actually think 8-0 is legit possible, the remaining schedule is super weak.

Realistically though with Marrone having lost the team, probably 4-4. If they make a change and shake the tree a bit maybe they catch on fire, but not with the Bologna man.
Don't have high expectations at this point. Offense woke up a little today, but not enough. Interesting to see if Fournette's return has any affect on this team.

It can if they get that 2 back set rolling again. Alternate between hand offs and tosses to #27 or quick passes to #24 or an underneath receiver.  Keep the defense honest.

If they just line up #27 like they did Hyde on most of his carries today in a power set - they 're not likely to give him much room to run. This O-Line is too banged up to just power run between the tackles all day.  They need to augment the run game playbook over the bye week to find a few more ways to create space for the backs.
Playoffs are still very possible, cmon man

your wrong about something. there was one person not talking bad about other teams in the division.. In fact i told everyone we have toughest schedule in the nfl. A lot of peopl didn't belieave me. I told them all 8-8. Well now 8-8 is looking really likey. they need to win 5 out of remaining 8 games. thats a possbillty. I said that when the team had no injurys that it looked like a 8-8 team.
The team MVP is the K. Enough said.
Zero chance this team makes the playoffs. They'll be lucky to get to 7-9.
Can't get 1 or 2 yards. Fournette can get 2-3 yards per carry.
Play calls in the red zone are atrocious. Hell, the plays out of the same formations are predictable. Defenses know what's coming.
Teams have figured out the D, TEs running wide open, successful screens into pressure, a LT who's a turnstile, DBs (including Bouye) playing soft, a pass rush that's just one second late, and LBs that are fast but can't fill a hole.
The lack of discipline is startling, I think Marrone has lost the locker room.
Fournette's going to come back and eventually provide a spark to the running game; these will be meaningless because he will be rolling at the end of the year in games that will be mean nothing.
I, like almost all of you, had much higher expectations. Injuries have decimated this team and destroyed any chance to make the playoffs.
The bye comes at a perfect time. Regroup and get some people healthy. Keep playing hard and maybe November will be kinder than October.

No one is getting mad but stop bringing up your 8-8 prediction in every thread.

No one cares.

I don't believe you.

I see a 5-11 maybe even a 4-12 team.  If we ride out with bortles it's over
2017 was a good ride, now back to the bottom of the division we go.
we will be tied for last after the colts game. looks like they are going to win.

Its all about the division. AFCS is weak.

Houston sits at 5-3, but they have some difficult games ahead which could easily be losses for them. Could you see them going 4-4 or even 3-5 in their last 8 games to get to 9-7 or even 8-8?  It's very possible.

Tenn is a big questionmark. 9-7 or 8-8 is possible for them too.

Yeah, it looks a lot bleaker for the Jags, but not over. They'd have to go 6-2 rest of the way to get to 9-7. Not impossible, but very tough.

Jags absolutely HAVE to win their 4 remaining division games though.
Colts 2x, Titans, Texans
And get 2 more wins somewhere else:
(@Bills, Redskins, @Dolphins, Steelers)

Can you see them beating any 2 of those non-divisonal games? Sure, I can; especially since they get Pitt and Wash at home in Jax.

The chance for a wildcard slot is likely gone. Those 2 spots will probably come from (Chargers, Steelers, Bengals, Ravens).
But this "eliminated from the playoffs" isn't accurate, not yet. If they lose a divisonal game,,,, yeah, it could be all over.

Playing on a short week Thursday night is always tough for the visiting team. The Jags have to come through @Tenn. They have to.

** Long post, I know.
Short summary:  Division is weak. Jags are still in contention for it, but have to win all AFCS games and get tacks/tinhorns to drop a couple  more.

If Jax drops a game to the Colts in the next few weeks,, I'll remove this post, lol.
Heads up boys. Were going for 8 straight w's after the buy to end at 11-5. No worries. Marrone been sandbaggin baby.

I like your optimism!  Don't let the jerks get you down.

And if we can fix the turnovers (Good Blake showed up in London) and the dropsies (looking at you WRs), we can win the division.  For all the other problems, if the WRs make a couple of more catches that went through their hands, Jags win that game.  The division is there for the taking.

There are 4 very winnable games in the first 5 weeks after the BYE. Get the Oline healthy. Get Fournette back healthy. Get back to that swagger and underdog mentality on D.

Season is not over. It doesn't look good right now but it's not over.
