The more I think about this game the more I think we are in trouble. The colts are very balanced. We’ve been getting handed by the run. The offense is going to have to come to life or it’s another loss
Looking at the remaining schedule, I hate to say it but I really believe we have already won our last game of the season. Maybe we beat the Bills, maybe. That's it. So I think 3W - 13L. I hate to dump on the team but there are obviously serious issues.

Who do you think we will beat of the remaining teams?
Not the Steelers, Redskins, not the Titans, not the Fins, not the Texans, maybe we'll split with the Colts. Like I said, maybe the Bills. Ok, lets say probably but we play them up north in the cold possibly with snow.

They are all winnable.

Jags just need to get the run game back to a "functional"  level so that the defense can get back to playing the way they are capable of playing with a more balanced time of possession.

If they find a way to do that after the bye, they have a chance against every opponent they face.

I think they at least split with the colts, beat the phins, beat the bills and the skins game is a toss-up.

Now that we excised the cancer on defense we should be better. If the Oline can get healthy this week and the RBs start being the focus of the offense then a good second half isn't out of the question.
We need to install more "legal pick" routes. I hate them. But so many of the big play across the league today on red zone were based on those concepts.

Agreed, if Bortles stays in at QB I say we win 2 more games

I think we can go 10-6 with Kessler
Smith will struggle with Ebron. Fournette should play and go for 100 yards which will allow is to control the clock.
Jags should beat Indy. They should beat Buffalo and Miami. No team remaining scares me. Doesn’t mean they won’t lose but they’re all winnable.

The thing that does scare me is how good the QBs are around the league. Bortles just isn’t close. It’s so easy to play QB in the league now and yet somehow, Jags still struggle.
The Jags should never go into any game thinking they "should" beat any certain team. They need to grind like crazy during practices and be convinced that they are the underdog. All the hype has made them overconfident, reckless and careless. And with our current state, we are not a sure shot for any win. I truly believe we will struggle to win 2 or 3 more games.
Hope our run offense starts kicking in
I suspect we might see a heavy dose of DJ Chark this week at the expense of Keelan Cole. Hopefully he can make an impact.

They already did that in London. No reason to expect it will change.

Snap numbers from last three games:

How many drops and fumbles from Cole this week?

One fumble, 4 targets w 4 drops.
I see Luck picking us apart. I have no clue what’s happened to our “ shut down “ corners or our run defense.

Corners cannot cover forever when there is not consistent pressure, especially up the middle.

Run defense won't work if LB over pursue and get out of position.

True, but what I’ve seen is soft coverage overall, no matter how much time the QB has. I ‘m amazed watching other games, like the Saints vs. the Rams on Sunday, where the coverages were so tight when compared to us.

This has to be a joke, right?  There were over 700 passing yards that game.
