You know for a franchise that hasn’t won a damn thing, we sure have some spoiled a$$ fans that have no realistic concept of anything.

We had one good run in ten years (last year ?)

And then this year we get absolutely crushed by injuries damn near fielding an entire offensive line of free agent players signed off the street, lose our starting LT, lose our star running back for most of the year, our WR1 goes out with an ACL in the preseason, both starting TE injured, and a Defense that is on the field for the majority of the game due to the offense having no identity from all the injuries.

Annnndddd.....

Y’all just wanna blow it up!? Fire everyone!? Seriously?! GTFOH

Flame away! I don’t care if I get banned, someone needs to point it out because this fan base is softer than charmin. Get a grip people!

I understand this year sucks, but some of y’all are unfreaking believable.
Yea there's a reason I've been staying off this board for the past 6 weeks... We're already a lock for the #1 pick in 2021 if you ask some people
I didnt want maroone here in the first place. And hackett is maroones OC. He was up in Buff when they quit because new ownership wanted them to be more pass oriented then the power run team. So he quit we hire them as QB coach and Marone as offensive line coach/ ASST HC to help Gus as a first time HC. During his time as the OL coach (he was supposed to be a guru at the ol) We had the worst OL in the league. When Gus wanted a change he put hackett as the OC after fireing olsen My guess that was a nudge from maroone. Then when they fired Gus And marone came in he told them he knew how to get them winning again. Right there they should have not hired him. Because if he knew how to get them to win why was he not doing his job and helping Gus Win. That has slimeball written all over it. Now we are stuck with a run first run second maybe pass 3rd and punt offense. it wont change if we get a diff QB. They have no clue how to run their own offense how are they going to design somthing they have no clue about and install it. They wont they will run 4nett to the ground then draft another. These coaches need to be gone more so the Blake.
This archaic offense philosophy just doesnt work in today's NFL if you want to win a Championship unless you're satisfied with mediocrity. The QB, HC, OC have to be replaced.
Is that you Caldwell?
How can you be spoiled 1 out of 10 years. Fans going to fan. I guess you are so above whining and being disappointed.
I said from the begaining hireing doug as the HC was a huge mistake. I said he would make it look like jags are a great team for 1 year, and then after that its stright downhill. thats what has happened now.
only thing missing from the OP is the "true jaguar fan" call out.....

Agreed. A, not why he/they left Buffalo. B, last year around these parts he was a God send. Good teams have bad years. Its no fun, but it happens...  that said - fans will be fans. A good part of our fan base cant comprehend we lucked into the playoffs last year, jettisoned our starting qb (rightfully so) and lost the decent parts of our OL BUT they still expect that to be built on rather than refusing to admit this year is a 'development ' year. Its a shame people turn on their teams so quick IMO. Its probably the minority,  but each fan base has em!
Quick question for the guys/gals that want to blow everything up, if we still had the entire offensive line up from the pats game currently to this point in the season do you think the W-L count changes?

The only position on the O-line that changed was LT.   Linder is out now, but that wasn't the case for all of the consecutive losses.

Losing Lee wasn't a big deal as Lee had always had a history of injuries and he was never that good when healthy.  Why he and Montcrief were signed over Allen Robinson is beyond me.

The biggest problem is offensive philosophy.  It's a passing league - ala Rams-Chiefs game.  We've gone old school with a power running game and strong defense and that just doesn't work in this league.  You can't say injuries are the problem when you draft/re-sign players who are known to be injury-prone like Lee and Fournette.

Next year the team HAS to be different.  We're going to be drafting in the top 10 and one of only 2 teams over the salary cap.  Several high-priced players are going to be let go and it's almost a given at this point that there will be major changes to the coaching staff.  The defense hasn't suffered many injuries, yet has taken a huge step backwards.

Positives are that we have a good young core of players like Ramsey, Jack, Ngakoue, and even Lambo and Chark to build around.

Ultimately - we need a franchise QB and it's obvious to everyone that Bortles isn't it.  Time to admit it was a mistake giving him a contract extension instead of picking up the 5th year option.  The sooner that is done, the quicker the rebuild will be.

Prove it.
The injuries have certainly taken their toll. That has been nauseating enough. But consistent QB wasn't even the case last year; there were games where Bad Blake showed up, and it turned ugly real fast.

If last night was a premonition of what kind of future the league has in store for all teams, if your offense cannot pass the ball consistently, you're not winning anything. The Run-First mentality is great to build off of when you don't have much talent yet; but this team's defense can't be the main focus of all the energy. Not when the league is looking to outright destroy any semblance of good defense as we know it.

Look, we can all rage as much as we want; I think we're stuck with Bortles for now. I think we're stuck with Marrone for another year, like it or not. But hopefully Coughlin or even Khan himself gets through to these guys sooner or later and makes it clear that a change is needed.

You do realize this crazy passing league in the NFL will not last right?

The NFL will loose close to 40% of the fan base.  People will start to tune out....

Sunday football will turn into the College game... No need to watch football on Saturday and Sunday...

I hope you're right. I'll probably be one of those that stops watching. If I want ridiculous offense and no defense kind of games I turn on college football.

So, if the Jaguars had one of these high scoring offenses and were 9-1 you'd stop watching Jaguars football.  Man, whatever.

It's not our decision to make but if I'm Shad Khan I'm seriously looking at all of the wasted money that has gone out the door and wondering whether my front office really knows what they are doing.

It's obvious we don't know how to evaluate QBs or change our gameplan based on injuries or the opponents halftime adjustments.

Personally, I would have done something like getting a mid-tier QB to challenge Bortles .... right now we're like a Fortune 500 Company satisfied with a dyslexic Controller.

We're way over the cap heading into 2019 so we'll need to blow up a portion of the team .... QB and OC would be a great start.
I do think its crazy that people want so many people gone .... but Blake Definitely needs to go, nobody will change my mind on that, i knew it from the start. if you believe otherwise, your a fool and dont know football

I COMPLETELY AGREE.

I've been tired of the unbelievable, gut wrenching, delusional fans that have been on the board and on social media.

It actually makes me angry that I'm apart of this fan base.
