Last year all UCF fans were told that they needed to build up a better reputation before their undefeated season would be counted as good as a one-loss season from a better-known team.
And now we all know that's a lie!
None of the talking heads in college football want the undefeated, 25-0 UCF Knights in the college football playoff.
If UCF wins its bowl game they may be able to claim a shared National title again.
We as fans were told that the college football playoff would create a clear champion- no more disputes and no more shared titles. But that's not really what they wanted to do. The bosses wanted to add one more game to the bowl season and one more week to their TV contracts. Nothing more, nothing less.
In the end I think the CFP will get the ratings and ticket sales they want regardless of which 4 teams are picked. But they want to keep those proceeds in the family, and the family excludes UCF.
I've heard they are in the Fiesta Bowl Vs LSU
Ucf couldn't even hang against Haskins and the talent osu.

Gosh that sounds familiar. I seem to remember hearing stuff like that as I rode the MARTA from the airport to the stadium on New year's day.
They didn't belong on the same field with an SEC team in that would be clear right away, they said.

Yeah that sounds likely.
they want us further away from home and against a team that has more losses than auburn did.
Florida is another strong possibility.
in my opinion UCF should be in the college football playoff or they should get a crack at a power 5 conference runner-up like they did last year.
Georgia or Texas would be worthy opponents.
LSU would not.
But note that none of the powers-that-be are matching us up with the runners-up.
This is deliberate.
they want a game that won't change anyone's mind even if UCF wins it.
They don't want a repeat of last year.
