I’ve watched that play over and over but I can’t tell who it was. I think it was Jackson.
I know it’s not Taven Bryan.
Anybody out there know who it was?
He literally got pushed back about 20 yards, and I’m pretty sure he gave up the crease.
Smith and Jack got held the entire play until Henry broke loose. Go watch it, those 2 got held and they ran away from Campbell and targeted Bouye. I think Harrison blitzed which set up the play perfect.

Because up until Wash had him drop his weight to that of an average defensive end, he was competent against the run.
Malik Jackson hasn't forgotten how to play. It's on Marrone and Wash paying a guy that much then telling him to completely change the way he plays. You don't spend that much money on a guy if you're going to change the way he plays football like that.

Where do we see that Malik has lost that much weight and that the coaches wanted him to lose it? I’m honestly just asking, I’d like to read about it.

I've definitely heard Sexton mention on one of the various weekly webcasts he does that Malik is playing closer to 270, and I think I've seen it in an Oehser article as well.
