NFL: lets skip their kicker who is the best in the league and make their kicker they got rid of a probowler.
Goodell: Damm you guys are ruthless!
Ka'imi Fairbairn is the one who got snubbed.. He only leads the league in FGA, FGM, and points scored.
Lambo is hurt, and couldn't play in the pro bowl. he has a groin injury. rember we had a different kicker last week, and rest of season due to the injury.

I wonder about that. I haven't watched a Pro Bowl in well over a decade because it's boring.
Pro bowl would actually be pretty sweet if they made it kinda like the all-star week in basket ball. Have different position drills and make it a contest. Imagine Odell and Julio going head to head in a one-handed grab contest, that'd be sweet.
In my opinion, the Pro Bowl is worse than a preseason game with college-like rules. It isn't football.

They need to just scrap the game and bring back the skills competition.. I actually enjoyed the skills competition, I get nothing out of the pro bowl game.

They already brought it back
Calais should have been selected, too.

I can't believe it hasn't been completely done away with by now.
It is pretty ridiculous.
Happy birthday, btw.

Also, just another bargaining chip when he and his agent try to bankrupt the team with his holdout and contract discussions.
I agree completely.

Sure. He had a very good season. Not a great one.
Still - worth the vote just to see him spend a week on the same team as 4 or 5 players he's had [BLEEP] talking dustups with on the field over the past two years! LOL
The pro bowl is what it is, a popularity contest. Having a winning team (especially one that exceeds expectations or is in a big market) is going to have more players named than a team that's in the cellar. It just goes with territory.

It draws in lots of eyeballs and lots of money. I wouldn't be surprised to see it eventually take on a different form, but the game itself ain't going anywhere.
I disagree on both eyeballs and money.
Between getting moved from Hawaii to Orlando and from after the SB to the dead week before the league's biggest game of the season, it's hanging on by a thread.
I would venture to say the combine may attract more eyeballs.
