Our new home is nearing completion and we will be moving in the next few months. Where we are going to live has no internet service (to speak of) and very poor cell phone service. I don't really care and can do without it. Pretty much everything is not going to be "smart" and I am more than fine with that.
Give me long days on one of my my tractors or skid steer out in the woods all day long. Give me only television channels that I can receive over the air (I don't really watch television anyway).
I'll keep my "old obsolete" phone just to stay in contact with loved ones that live out of state. I might turn it on once a week or so.

Your doing it right I just enjoy the new technology lol but I’m nearing the point it’s time to put it all away.
Drinking a [BLEEP] ton of beer after a long hiatus of such and partaking after a loooong weeks worth of work. [BLEEP] it. We earned it.
I'm a divorced dad of an 11-year old. During my week with the kid, the youngster drops the ipad and scratches it. I try to downplay it, but the kid is inconsolable.
"You don't know how mad Mom is going to get about this. You don't know how mean she is when things don't go her way!"
Divorce 101 states that you never pile on the other partner as a parent, so my guilty smile was all inwards. But all I could think was, "Believe me, I KNOW..."
Not a guilty pleasure at all. Just a pleasure........
Sitting in my most comfortable lounge chair and spending the entire day watching all the Lethal Weapon films in order. They just don't make movies like that anymore. Classics!
On a side note, I met Danny Glover once when I was a kid. Super nice guy. I have his autograph.

I like the Lethal Weapons.. Mostly just the first few. Ever since they introduced Rene Russo, I kinda lost interest..

Russo's character didn't bother me one bit. I kinda liked that she was the female equivalent of Martin Riggs. I thought she fit right in. The one character I didn't like was Chris Rock as Lee Butters. Every time he had a scene, it was treated like he was doing a stand up comedy routine. It just wasn't natural and had very odd dialogue choices. It was like he wasn't directly talking to the other characters, but more like he was addressing an invisible audience that only he could see. It was weird and it just didn't fit the rest of the film. That's why I rank Lethal Weapon 4 as the lowest rated of the series. Without Chris Rock, it probably would be the 3rd best.

But, that scene of all of them in the dentist office gassing up the Chinese ring leader still makes me belly laugh out loud.
