Any math gurus out there, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong with any of the following. I just wanted to look at the potential draft order.

Jags have one of the harder strengths of schedule this year, so, in all likelihood, any ties will result in other teams drafting before us. As far as I can tell, if Buffalo, Detroit, NY, and Tampa all win next week (and the Jags lose), the Jags would pick at 5. If Atlanta and Carolina lose next week (and the Jags win), the Jags would pick at 11. Unless the strength of schedule changes, Denver and Cincinatti should draft after the Jags even if they have the same record. I believe that's true of the Packers because of their draw.

As grateful as I am that the Jags pulled one out today, it sucks knowing they potentially dropped 6 spots in the draft with a win today. The even more unfortunate part is that the Giants (the other team predicted to need a QB), now hold the tie breaker over the Jags and will most likely take the first QB in the draft. We might see a trade up out of desperation. I'm not really looking forward to the draft next  year.

TL;DR

Best Case: 4
Worst Case: 11
Not sure where the priors posts on this topic went but..... here's the site that figures this out. We're number 9

The absolute earliest we can pick is #5.

Barring a trade up, we are in line to get 1 of the top 3 QBs in the draft.
buf, tam, and ny all play at home so hopefully they play hard for their fans. det play @ gb and Patricia might want to fire that team up going into next year. I'm hoping all these teams ahead of us are pumped to play at 100 mph. Would be nice to end up a little higher than 9th.
