Quote:No we havnt, and both would have the potential to be our 2 best corners in franchise history

The thought of those 2 on the outside with Colvin in the nickel is making me drool. Our pass rush should theoretically get better because of coverage sacks aswel.

Again I wouldn't mind Adams in this scenario either.
Just don't go oline or RB...

I think Oline should be our priority this offseason.

Not with a first rounder though, especially one that is quite possibly a top 10 pick.

At this moment in time my plan would be to trade out of the top 10 and take the best interior guard in the draft.
I would go

Ethan Pocic-Guard LSU-best guard/center in this draft

Quinn Blanding-SS-Virginia -guy can ball

David Sharpe-RT-Local guy who has played pretty solid for UF and someone who would provide depth and we could groom

Davin Tomlinson-NT-Bama-Love Roy but I feel like he needs a quality backup because Abry just isn't consistent enough
I think Tabor is vastly overrated.  He is so overhyped because of his athleticism, but he wasn't and isn't half the corner that Hargreaves was.  He has discipline problems both on and off the field.

Cam Robinson has been dominant at times, but his off the field issues are a concern.  He dominated Dante Fowler and outside of one play, dominated Myles Garrett.  Definite boom or bust pick.  I wouldn't mind replacing Parnell with him at right tackle.

I think Robinson could be a monster at LG, and our back up tackle for either tackle spot if Parnell or Beachum goes down
No doubt offensive line help will be the number 1 priority. However, if Peppers from Michigan is still on the board he would be the pick. Since it's unlikely Peppers will be there Reuben Foster from Alabama would be another consideration. I do expect the Jaguars to be picking later than pick 7 so Foster would fit there. Smith, Foster and Jack would be amazing linebacking corps. The Jags could still go offensive line in the 2nd round and again in the mid-rounds.

agreed on peppers, really dont think we will pick a linebacker in round 1 though.
Foster would make me a whole lot happier than an RB or OL.

1) Oline

2) S

3) LB/RB

4) LB/RB

Is how I would go atm.
Give me Peppers with the first pick and go heavy on O-line after.
Tabor, Peppers, or Dalvin Cook.

As a UF fan, I really like Jarrad Davis as well

Michigan fan here...not really getting all this peppers love...definitely wouldn't spend a 1st on him.

Care to clarify why?

Sure. Looks to be a fantastic athlete, but he's undersized. Plays the run well in space, but haven't seen him be as aggressive in the box. Seems like he would need to be in a hybrid role similar to Mathieu. Coverage skills seem adequate but I wouldn't term it lock down. At this level, grabbing at ankles will work, at the next level those will be broken. At his size, if he does use proper technique, I fear with the violence his momentum brings, he will be oft injured.

What is it you see that would make him 1st round caliber?

That certainly didn't work for Dallas  :whistling:

Travis Fredrick, Zack Martin and Zek Elliot are bums

If we somehow draft in the back end of the 1st round then fine we could take a stud IOL. With our likely top 10 pick no thanks.

Not sexy but would be a very good draft. My only concern is if we are picking in the early teens, Pocic may be a little bit of a reach. I'd be in favor of trading back a few spots to grab him. The oline needs to be upgraded and there will be a hole at SS after this season.
