I would imagine that alot of times players that they know they would draft if the player is sitting there, aren't even brought in on visits so not to tip their interests.
Obviously, there's something or somethings in the player we like.
However, the context is something we aren't privy to. It could be to gather more information that could scratch/add, or possibly move up/down a guy on their board. It could be a focused interest (there's an injury, personality, or other singular question mark they would like to answer,) or it could be much more. We don't know.
Also consider that there are probably guys we like, that we already have a solid grade for, that we may not even have met or plan to meet at all. Those types of selections happen all the time. The value is there at the top of the board and not close, and they select the guy.
So, it's difficult to gauge actual interest based on whether we do or do not plan to meet with a player (or how many times they've met or plan to meet.) It could be their opinion is set on a player (good or bad,) but they continue to honor their commitment to meet.
A lot of the late round meetings are to gauge whether or not you feel the need to spend a pick, or expect to be able to sign in UDFA too.

I mean I like Jarrod Wilson, but I don’t know if I like him enough to start an entire season at FS. A couple I wouldn’t mind the Jags taking a deeper look at is Chauncey Gardner-Johnson and Darnell Savage.

My guess is that they like Wilson more than we realize and feel comfortable with Cody Davis and CJ Reavis as depth.
Still, they could probably upgrade Wilson with either of those prospects. Savage in the third round would be good value IMO.
I think his versatility combined with Harrison's would give the Jags ample opportunity to disguise coverage.
Who knows where this f.o. is prioritizing the position, though? Anybody's guess at this point.
