Quote:LGV20 is an optionI have pretty much always had stock Android. I'm not a fan of the skins. With that said, LG's is much nicer than Samsung's IMO. V20 is a heck of a device though.

I'm still rocking a Note 4. And perfectly happy with it. It's almost paid off and I'm gonna run with it as long as it runs. Unless something comes out that blows me away......

The nifty foreign phones never work with Verizon which i use here in the states. Heck a lot of phones just flat don't support the bands limiting the options. It's pretty frustrating at times.

Thankfully, the Oneplus phones works fine with my carrier over here but I know at least one of the carriers doesn't support the 3G/4G bands used by Oneplus.

My wife has a Note 4, and like you, she's not interested in anything new.

I've preordered the XL. £719...

I'm using the Note 4 now and would stick with it if it wasnt for the flash memory fault mine has developed over the last 2 months.
Samsung did agree to fix it on a warranty repair but have since stopped responding to emails. I'm guessing they are a bit busy at the moment

Quote:I've preordered the XL. £719...That would be €800 or $880. The Oneplus I ordered is €399 with an extra €30 in accessories. I'd rather keep that €400 and the Oneplus 3 is a tasty, tasty phone.

I'm telling y'all..stay away from the big brands like Samsung or Apple.
Buy the phone direct from Chinese makers instead. The specs are better, the batteries are better and the price is way better.

I'm clearly a sucker for new gadgets. I had read about the OnePlus3 but haven't known anyone who has one. What are they like?

That's why I'm going to a Huawei P9!

What are they like?Mine should get here on Nov 9, and either they're quite popular or they lack production capacity because I ordered it on Oct. 9. I got the OPO which I loved, then I got the OP2 which was okay but had some fatal flaws that made me switch back to the OPO. I was on the fence about the 3 but my colleague got one and looking at that I decided to buy one as soon as I could spare the €450.
