I'm surprised we're not talking more about all the great WRs in this class as that's very much a need for our team. Most of them are big, tall dominating guys that almost make you want to drill, but one of the most productive of them all is a little guy... Andy Isabella. Isabella dominated college CBs throughout his career and again in the Senior Bowl, and I'm thinking he'd be a perfect slot WR.

What do you know about him, and where in this draft is he slotted to go?

Also, what other WRs should we consider as this is perhaps the deepest WR class since the Jaguars drafted Lee (smh) and ARob?
I don't like his last name. Pass
He's probably gonna be drafted after the first two rounds.

I'm a fan of Isabella. Our WR group would have some insane speed to work with but pretty lacking in terms of guys who can make contested catches Vs physical coverage though.
I've been looking more at some bigger WRs like JackCity alluded to some guys I like that fit the bill are:

Kelvin Harmon, Jakobi Meyers, Tyre Brady, Xavier Ubosi, Keelan Doss.
Problem is where do you put him? Dede is probably at his best in the slot. I’d rather go after the big dominating guy, which our offense sorely missed last year.
If you acquire Isabella you're locking Dede and Lee into outside receiver spots...which is pretty gross to me. Also, Penny Hart was the slot guy that was outshining Isabella all of Senior Bowl week so maybe we could get him later day 3 after we draft a big bodied WR early.
Sometimes worrying about where to put guy might be overthinking it. Isabella has this tendency to just run around guys making huge plays and being productive. What if he's the next Julian Edelman or Wes Welker? Isabella is projected to go in the top two rounds, but the opinions in this thread remind me of how Cohen went in the 4th round and was projected to go even later because he was just so small, but who wouldn't want Cohen now?

I'm all for getting a big bodied WR as well, and fortunately, there seems to be so many of those in this draft. We may be able to get that guy in round four this year.

He's absolutely not going near the first

I don't see Isabella being selected until day 3 of the draft. There are just too many good WR's in this class.

I think Isabella could be a day 2 guy. I think Tyreek Hills success helps his draft stock to an extent because teams love to replicate things. And even when he's not touching the ball Hill has an effect on that offense with his speed.

and 02, if you're looking for the next Edelman or Welker I'd look to Hunter Renfrow. Isabella has deep speed that Edelman, Welker, and Renfrow don't. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see him run a low 4.3.

Was said he ran a 4.26

I don't really see a Tyreek Hill type in this draft. I think the closest you get is Deebo Samuel and he reminds of T.Y. Hilton, more than anyone else. Isabella reminds me of Marquise Goodwin type of player. Renfrow is definitely a Julian Edelman type.
Isabella = Taylor Gabriel

Renfrow = Cole Beasley (too easy)

Deebo = chunkier Golden Tate

I remember Golden Tate coming out of Notre Dame and I never saw him consistently get separation like Samuel does.

Tates route running and ability to get open were his strongest traits as a prospect, I'd actually say it was better than Deebo's too.
There are some appealing smaller shiftier slot type WRs in this draft, but I'd be surprised if we take one. We really should be in the market for a big X type guy who can challenge on 50/50 balls. There's a fair few good ones there. Considering our more pressing positions I wouldn't expect a WR until the end of the 3rd at the earliest, but who knows.

Tate was a much better college player than Samuel was.  He won the Biletnikoff Award and he wasnt the biggest or fastest guy but was a great route runner with sticky hands

But he didn't have that extra gear like Samuel has to just blow right by defenders. I don't think they are the same type of receivers. I've always seen Tate as a possession type of receiver that makes tough catches over the middle via precise route running and Samuel is more of a big play, seep threat via his speed and shiftiness. They're just very different receivers IMO. The same way I believe Tate and T.Y. Hilton (my comparison to Samuel) are very different receivers. They utilize different skill sets.
Samuel seems kind of like a little worse DJ Moore maybe.
