Ok ... tonight is binge night for me on Netflix. I delayed watching Narcos season 2 since you need to read the subtitles so direct focus is required.
Anyway, tired of the weather channel and tired of the election crap.
Time for Narcos Season 2. I already watched episodes 1 & 2 so I hope to get through episodes 3-4-5 tonight.
I think episode 9 was my favorite that season. Won't spoil, but such a great turn of events.
Great show and a great season which wraps up quite nicely.
I had to defer until tonight. Got home last night and crashed out ---- i think the mental exhaustion from the past few days finally hit me.
.... definitely looking forward to seeing Season 2. I thought it was just going to be a repetitive portrayal of Season 1 but based on Season 2 Episodes 1 & 2, it looks like it focuses much more on the daily details (which is good).
It follows the historical timeline of actual events well, with some minor variations on what actually happened for dramatic effect. I caught a few and thumbed through the book "Killing Pablo" by Mark Bowden to fill in some blanks.

Excellent, excellent book.

I had a few eye-opening "oh wow, so that's why it happened" moments when piecing the show's events together with my memories of the actual events.
Have any of you Narcos fans seen The Infiltrator? I've been wanting to see it, both for the topic and because Bryan Cranston is money.
