I honestly pray for a healthy o line this year, last year was brutal... Depth is a concern, but Richardson is a very good swing guy and Wells is solid too. Hopefully we aren't dealing with 3 starters out for most of the year again.

Honestly this year has me super hyped in general. Looking back on 2018, there were a lot of winnable games on the table, and we were seriously devoid of talent at QB and RB/OL(injuries). We could have easly got to 10 wins last year with a banged up squad. If we remain healthy, this team can make some serious noise in 2019.

I agree with you.  Going into last season, we had a really good team even if we had to game plan around our QB.  It was mainly injuries on offense that derailed us.  This year is like hitting the reset button but with a much better QB.  I don't see any reason why we shouldn't be at least as optimistic going into this season as we were going into last season.

I think a lot of people want to temper their optimism because they bear the scars of last season's disappointment.  But if we look at things purely objectively, we can be pretty optimistic.

I Concur w/respect to the team being tremendously more productive when truly healthy. Injuries are a part of the game and the good teams keep it moving when such injuries occur. Unfortunately, our 2018 OL injuries cut deep and long. Let's pray that 2019 is much better.

Time Will Tell.

Which is now a reality.
I tried to tell a few folks that Cann's meager deal could mean competition for him in camp, and that appears to be happening now.

Would you guys please just let me dream that this staff isn't content with AJ Cann at RG?!?!

I don't think it's just a matter of talent although I know Marrone would argue this point. It's just when you're paying a guy starting money, you want him to start. I'm thinking for someone to be out Cann, he's going to have to obviously beat out Cann by a mile. If it's even close, the job is AJ's.

Looks like this competition is coming right down to the wire:

*Marrone also discussed the ongoing competition at right guard, where second-year veteran Will Richardson is pushing five-year veteran and long-term starter A.J. Cann. "Will's really worked hard and it's going to be a tough decision and he's done a good job," Marrone said. "Will's increase in play and competitiveness has increased A.J. A.J.'s gotten better, too, at the same time. When you have guys, and they're competing, then all of a sudden you feel someone breathing down your neck you just step it up. And it's not that you didn't want to before, or you've become complacent, it's just human nature. I think that's a good decision for us. I think both players can play. I think we'll look at what gives us the best chance and I think it might go now to practice with the games being even." Marrone said he has yet to decide if Cann and Richardson will play against Atlanta or if practice between now and the opener will be enough to decide a starter. "I think practice, but I'm not there yet," Marrone said. "I'll be able to tell you later in the week, I just don't know. I just can't tell you that right now."

I honestly really see Marrone as a good coach.
I like Marrone, only fault he has is inexperienced. And not alot of winning teams. Buff and jax. He can give good power football but needs the qb and bortles unfortunately was not good enough to overcome injuries. I think Foles will be.

His QB situation in Buffalo was even worse.
Agreed I think he can be great. Just needs time to develope his own style and given a chance. Having a bad qb ay in this league now as opposed to 10 years ago is hard to overcome.
