I know I will catch flack, but I don't like the Bryan pick. C-.  I never felt he was a 1st round pick. He's not all that fast or powerful. Or productive. I think
Jax falls into love with UF players too easily. How many have worked out other than Fred? NFL.com said...

• Body type looks out of place as an interior lineman
  
  
• Lacks mass to hold his ground against power
  
  
• Slow to unhinge from block when blocker finds his frame first

I challenge anybody on this forum to find me a more horrendous draft than 2008 in our team's history. That was a steaming pile of horse [BLEEP] for us. My eyes water just from the mere heat of the [BLEEP] this class inhibits.

What takes it from bad to the absolute worst is the fact we went into that draft with nine picks. NINE PICKS and we came out with five players, one didn't make the roster, two were cut the next season, Groves lasted two seasons, and Harvey lasted three seasons. Nine picks and three seasons later we had zero players. 

And we also lost a 7th round pick in 2009.

And Harvey held out for 38 days.

Those were dark times friend. We're still feeling the ripple effects of that through this very day. I think Harris retired about four years ago. He was doing something for the Lions. I have no clue what happened to Gene Smith after he was fired in 2012.

I briefly remember Redmond as a kid. But the rest of those guys don't ring a bell at all. But yeah I would imagine when you land essentially a modern day G.O.A.T, if not, the G.O.A.T when it comes to any era in general. You can afford 7 stinkers in one class.

Me too, but it might be Mike Nugent, ex kicker of the Bengals and still in the league (since 2005).

Yeah, it's too early to evaluate both of these players with any remote degree of certainty. 
Saying Bryan isn't powerful tells me you didn't watch him much. 
 It was really the one trait (besides a good first step/get-off) that he really put on display. He disrupted the pocket by bullrushing tackles and guards back into the pocket several times last season. That requires power. 

Chark will need to show he's got the hands to pair with his speed and route-running. 
He'll have that chance in 2019 more than likely and we can get a clearer picture. 

Why did you name this "best-worst drafts" and then just attempt to bash two rookies from one draft??

I think every team has some real stinker draft classes, I know the Steelers have had some dogs. 

2009 was the most recent dog.

2008 was a terrible draft class no doubt. The stretch from 2010-2013 really hurt this team. Those draft classes were all terrible.

Best? Most recently obviously 2016 stands out. 2014 and 1996 were pretty dang good drafts too.
