It's not just about this 1 season but the many seasons after that. But to answer your question, yes I do and I also think Haskins gives the Jags a better chance at wining than Bortles does. Not only for the 2019 season but the many seasons after that.

Haskins can very easily run the ball controlled offense that Blake does with most likely less turnovers. He also has the room to grow into a franchise QB whereas Blake is who he is.... A turnover proned QB with accuracy issues. Blakes time is done and I'm ready to move on. You should be too.

This wasnt about BB5. And i agree given time and experience Haskins could proove to be a good QB. But it is about 2019 and a Cahmpionship Defense that is ready to make the run. There is just no way a kid with only 14 starts agaist college kids is going to e able to handle the pressure that Starting in the NFL would bring.

If Blake is as good as you say he is then how are we gonna be bad enough to take Lawrence at #1?

My man... There's no way to tell if any of these kids can handle the pressure of starting in the NFL. No matter how many starts a guy has in college, predicting NFL QB success is the hardest thing to do in all of sports. I will tell you that Haskins has dealt with in game pressure (Coming in late At Michigan 2 years ago to bring them back for a win) and we the was unquestioned leader at OSU this season. He had to deal with the potential of Urban Meyer leaving every single week as well as the pressure of being the QB at OSU.

Blake just isn't good and he's not the future of this franchise. If they know this (which I believe they do), they will cut him and move on.

Agreed. College and the NFL are two different animals in terms of pressure. I think what a player has around them as far as coaching and veteran players has more to do that # of starts they had in college.

We are in the middle of the dead zone for the offseason so speculation is about at its peak lol.

pretty sure he did. he has been fixing this one up to sell. he wanted to move for awhile. ppl knew he lived there and would just walk up from the beach with a beer and chat with him while he was on his deck.

Caldwell says BB5 is still in the mix at QB take it for what its worth

It's worth nothing if you actually listened to the whole interview.

It was on the market last year while prepping the new house in Marsh Landing.
